The NCHS also serves, engages, and educates the diverse communities of Coweta County and the surrounding region, as well as the general public. The McRitchie-Hollis Museum and the Newnan Historic Train Depot are both operated by us. Here are three of our favorite new venues for hosting corporate and social events alike, all of which have recently opened their doors. Guardian Works is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the public from harm. What it is is as follows: Guardian Works at Echo Street West is a 19-acre development on the Atlanta BeltLine's Westside Trail that is operated by Novare Events and is home to a variety of events. Condos, a hotel, offices, and other amenities are also available on the property. It has a rustic feel to it, but it also has high-end amenities. This mixed-use development has it all, which is why we love it! The Guardian Works event space, with its renovated brick-and-beam structure and double-height interior, is also a hit with attendees. The 1908 building, which has 8,000 square feet of interior space, also has 4,000 square feet of covered patio space and a 10,000-square-foot courtyard, among other amenities. It's not difficult to see that the possibilities for events are virtually limitless. Built in the 1920s as a Gulf Oil Company building, it features original design elements that have been updated with modern amenities. What we like about it: The combination of the old and the new in this industrial space is a visual treat to behold.
