It is historically significant because of its association with Victor Hugo Kriegshaber, who was a leader in the cultural and economic development of Atlanta during the first third of the twentieth century and who was also the original owner of this house." He commissioned the building to be designed by architect Willis F. Danny just before 1900, and he and his family lived there until their deaths in the year 1924. Denny's work is exemplified by the Kriegshaber residence; he was only in Atlanta for a few years before his untimely death at the age of 31 from pneumonia, but he managed to design many of the city's most prestigious public and private structures before 1905. The house is a notable transitional statement in terms of style, combining late Victorian and eclectic elements in a cohesive whole. The Wrecking Bar Brewpub has three different event spaces, each with a different capacity and atmosphere: the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, and the Wrecking Bar Brewpub. The Biergarten is an event space located in our brewery warehouse that can accommodate up to 42 people seated and up to 100 people standing. There are twelve beer taps and fermentation tanks in the room, so it is definitely a casual venue, and it has a built-in stage, which makes it ideal for celebrations that include live music. It is located within our historic house, The Marianna, and serves as a private dining room for up to 20 people. The space can accommodate up to 30 people for a seated event or 40 people for a standing, cocktail-style event. In addition to dinner parties and get-togethers, the Parlor is an excellent venue for workplace mixers, book clubs, birthday parties, and rehearsal dinners. This is our formal event space, located on the main floor of the house, and it can accommodate up to 250 people in seating capacity. Because of its high ceilings, stained glass windows, and original fireplaces, it is an excellent venue for weddings (both ceremony and reception), breakout sessions, rehearsal dinners, and holiday parties.

When you enter Café Intermezzo, you are transported to another time and place. It's a break, a vacation, a 'intermezzo,' or 'intermission,' between the hectic acts of your life... in musical words, it's your respite between allegro and adagio.' Your vacation or meeting is complete with a delicious coffee and a lovely pastry. It's a true tradition, made complete only by your presence! When Brian Olson visited his ancestral homeland of Germany in 1971, he had the concept for Café Intermezzo. Visiting a Konditorei (bakery-café) in Berlin, and then many more around Germany and Austria, solidified my belief that the Europäische Kaffeehaus (European coffeehouse) might find a home in America as a vital place in the lives of its visitors. Olson believed that the Kaffeehaus would provide a distinct and wonderful refuge in the ever-expanding world of fast-food and environments designed to expedite takeout beverages and foods as a respite in a person's day, a place to stop, relax, think...as a "intermission" between all of the activities and responsibilities. The European coffeehouse is the polar opposite of fast food and drink. Music, fragrances, art, and the Café's sheer nature all express the core of the café experience. Outside the door, the rush and mayhem are left behind. The almost ethereal stuff of thought, with the body at ease, and the mind just doing what its owner wants it to do, abounds inside. The groundswell began a year before the restaurant's February 2019 grand opening in Candler Park, Georgia. A series of pop-ups, hosted by chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips (Hsu was raised in Atlanta, and both were educated at Le Bernardin in New York City), helped them refine their menu, which rapidly sold out. The momentum continued to build when Hsu, an Atlanta native, appeared on Netflix's The Final Table, where he impressed viewers with his ability to maintain his cool under pressure. For more than a decade, SweetWater Brewery has been brewing delicious beers in the heart of the South. We like to say at SweetWater that we're not here for a long time, but rather that we're here for a good time. It's not simply something we say, though; it's also how we conduct our lives. Remember, don't stray too far from the mainstream as we all find our way through life, and drink 'em if you got 'em. Our barrel aging program, which is based in The Woodlands, allows our brewers to make tiny batches of sour, funky, or otherwise excellent beers in limited amounts. With six 88-liter foeders (wooden fermenting pots) and hundreds of barrels loaded with everything from blackberry sours to Belgian-style ales maturing in tequila barrels, the Woodlands is just next door to the main production brewery at 195 Ottley Street in Atlanta. The casual classic, complete with a spacious outside terrace. Our original tasting room, which has developed alongside us, is crammed with SweetWater trinkets and memorabilia that celebrates 24 years of delicious brews. Outside, you'll find a large patio with plenty of space for both two- and four-legged friends, as well as a stage where you can catch some live music.
