The Shamrock Community Use Building is a rental facility operated by the Clayton County Water Authority, set in the woods between Blalock Reservoir and Shamrock Lake in Jonesboro, Georgia. The building accommodates up to 200 guests and has been the setting for events ranging from wedding receptions to professional conferences. The great room is designed to adapt to a variety of functions, with a commercial-grade kitchen and restrooms at one end. Funeral home weddings are becoming increasingly popular, and Atlanta's historic Oakland Cemetery is a particularly gorgeous location for an outdoor ceremony. As a Victorian garden cemetery and the site of Atlanta's first park, we're continuing on the Victorian tradition of making Oakland a place to commemorate the lives and loves of the city's 70,000 citizens, as did the Victorians. A covered space that can accommodate up to 50 people is available in addition to open-air locations that may accommodate up to 250 guests in total. When not in use as a functioning greenhouse, the Beaumont Allen Greenhouse may be rented out for special events from September through May. Depending on the layout, the greenhouse can be arranged in a variety of different ways. During the fall, winter, and spring, the Beaumont Allen Greenhouse is available for rent to the general public. WOKC is built with your occasion in mind for Private Events with 15 to 500 people. White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails will design a gorgeous solution for your next dinner party, from state-of-the-art sound and A/V to small and big private dining areas. Chapter & Verse Chapter and Verse can be used as two independent rooms or can be combined to accommodate up to 80 people. A standing cocktail reception for 30-40 people can be held in Chapter alone. Verse can also be used on its own for a 15-30 person seated dinner and a 30-40 person standing reception. For more personalized service, Verse has a mini bar installed within the room. For presentations, both Chapter and Verse offer flat screen TVs with surround sound and a hand held or cordless microphone. Barrel Bar This cocktail reception space can accommodate up to 200 people. The wide marble top bar makes buying a much-needed cocktail quick and easy, making it a fantastic location to congregate and unwind after work. Large windows overlook Peachtree and Baker Streets, and the reception space offers direct access to the patio and terrace. This is the ideal position for watching the sun set over the city while enjoying a handmade cocktail. Distillery This accommodation features big floor-to-ceiling windows with amazing views of the Atlanta skyline, as well as double doors leading to the outside garden terrace. Puritan Chemical Company built and operated The Foundry at Puritan Mill, which opened its doors in 1921 and is still in operation today. A variety of cleaning goods, including Puritan soap, were created and stored in the facility until they were sent out through the nearby Atlantic Coast Line Railroad. It was here that Puritan Chemical Company's Atlanta headquarters was located from 1946 to 1996. The property was bought by Urban Realty Partners and Weaver & Woodbery Company in 2000 with the intention of restoring it and converting it into a mixed-use site. The Foundry, with its 12,000 square feet of floor area, is a wonderfully striking and adaptable event venue. In terms of giving back to the communities in which they live, Kevin and Lauren have been at it for a long time. Between them, Kevin and Lauren have invested their hearts and souls into the underserved populations of inner cities all across the United States. They were able to create what is perhaps the most unique aspect of 42West Entertainment Group as a result of their non-profit experience. The duo came to the conclusion that the only way they could devote their full attention to an event space was to ensure that it included a significant give-back program. This will result in the donation of 42West to non-profit organizations in the metro Atlanta area at no cost to the organizations.
