Philip A. Hart Plaza is a 14-acre outdoor civic space on the Detroit River in downtown Detroit, opened in 1975 and named for late U.S. Senator Philip A. Hart. Designed by Smith, Hinchman, and Grylls with sculptor Isamu Noguchi, the plaza is anchored by the Horace E. Dodge and Son Memorial Fountain — a 30-foot stainless steel fountain with 300 jets and 300 computerized lights — along with the 120-foot stainless steel Pylon. The site marks the location where Antoine de la Mothe Cadillac founded Detroit in 1701, and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2024. With a capacity of up to 40,000 guests, Hart Plaza hosts the Detroit International Jazz Festival, Movement Electronic Music Festival, African World Festival, Motor City Pride, and the Windsor–Detroit International Freedom Festival each year. The plaza connects directly to the Detroit Riverwalk and features two open-air amphitheaters, Pylon Square, the Pyramid Theater, kitchen facilities, and river views across to Windsor, Ontario.

Whitmore Lake Golf Links is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Bill Newcomb, situated on 254 acres in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, roughly midway between Ann Arbor and Brighton just off US-23. The clubhouse banquet room is set up to host golf outings, corporate events, and weddings for up to 160 seated guests. Matthaei Botanical Gardens & Nichols Arboretum is a University of Michigan property in Ann Arbor dedicated to botanical research, education, and public programming. The grounds include outdoor display gardens, a children's garden, and natural areas with more than three miles of trails. At the center of the gardens stands a 10,000-square-foot conservatory designed by Alden Dow in the early 1960s — one of the largest university-affiliated display greenhouses in the country — housing tropical, temperate, and arid plant collections. The gardens host weddings, private receptions, memorial services, and corporate gatherings across a mix of indoor and outdoor settings. Outdoor ceremony spaces — including the Gateway Garden, the Kimberly Maged Perennial Garden, and Willow Pond Island — each accommodate up to 150 guests and are available from late spring through early fall. Corner Brewery is Arbor Brewing Company's production facility and brewpub, opened in 2006 in a historic warehouse at the corner of Forest and Norris Streets in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Originally built to support statewide craft beer distribution, the space has grown into a full-service destination for craft beer fans across the Ann Arbor–Ypsilanti area. The brewery pours rotating taps alongside year-round offerings like Euchre Pilsner, Strawberry Blonde, Tropi Tango Juicy IPA, and Buzzsaw IPA. A dedicated sour tap showcases Arbor's Belgian-inspired sour program — the first of its kind in Michigan — drawing from barrels that have been in use since the program launched.
