After the successful campaign to legalize medical cannabis in 2008, activist attorney Matthew Abel purchased the building in Detroit's Rivertown District as a home for Cannabis Counsel® Law Firm, the oldest and first cannabis only law firm in the country. Planterra Conservatory is a glass-enclosed botanical event venue in West Bloomfield, Michigan, built around a structure imported from Izegem, Belgium, with European trusses and soaring glass ceilings. Mill Race Village is a living history museum and event venue operated by the Northville Historical Society on the banks of the Rouge River in Northville, Michigan. Established in 1972 on land donated by Ford Motor Company, the village preserves a collection of 19th-century structures — including a church built in 1845, a gazebo, blacksmith shop, general store, and interurban train station — offering a uniquely historic setting for weddings and private celebrations. The centerpiece for ceremonies and receptions is the New School Church, a Greek Revival structure from 1845 that has been restored and is heated, air-conditioned, and handicap accessible via an electric lift at the rear. It accommodates up to 80 guests for seated dinners and up to 120 for receptions. The Cady Inn provides a more intimate option for gatherings of up to 60 for seated meals or 100 for receptions, with a full kitchen and accessible restroom on-site. The building carried several lives before its 2012 transformation — serving as a Gulf Oil station, a Sunoco location, a Chrysler dealership, and a garden shop — before reopening as a full-service restaurant and private event destination. An executive chef oversees a classic yet sophisticated menu designed to appeal broadly, anchoring the dining experience in a setting where the building's original character remains part of the atmosphere. For private celebrations, the Model A Room is a dedicated banquet space separate from the main dining area, accommodating up to 80 seated guests for banquets, parties, and business meetings. A banquet manager coordinates menus, pricing, and availability tailored to each event.

Silver Garden Events Center occupies a 1959 International Style building in Southfield, Michigan, designed by Michigan Modernist architect Louis G. Redstone. Originally constructed as B'nai David Synagogue, the building is noted for its sanctuary designed in the round, distinctive stained glass windows, and an undulating ceiling with a glass window wall in the social hall. The Moslem Shrine acquired and converted the property in 2003, and the venue now operates as a full-service banquet center. Two ballrooms define the event experience. The Mystic Ballroom spans over 8,000 square feet in a contemporary crescent-shaped layout surrounded by stained glass, accommodating up to 440 guests for weddings, galas, and large conferences. The Grande Ballroom offers 4,550 square feet of classically styled space with neutral décor and a movable parquet dance floor, hosting up to 256 guests for receptions, award ceremonies, and banquets. St. John's Banquet & Conference Center sits on a campus along Northwestern Highway in Southfield, Michigan, that has served the Armenian community for more than 75 years. The building's architecture was shaped by a team that traveled to Armenia to study classical church design; the main structure was dedicated in 1966, and the event spaces underwent a complete renovation in September 2022. The centerpiece is the Grand Ballroom, which seats up to 550 guests and features expansive palladium windows, a coffered hexagonal ceiling with remote color-tunable lighting, and a professional stage — an arrangement that accommodates everything from black-tie galas and wedding receptions to corporate banquets and award ceremonies.
