Lakewold Gardens is a nonprofit public garden on the shores of Gravelly Lake in Lakewood, Washington, not a purpose-built banquet hall. The 10-acre estate dates to the early 20th century, and its design took shape over decades under Corydon and Eulalie Wagner, who owned the property from 1938 and brought in landscape architect Thomas Church, who returned regularly after his first Pacific Northwest visit in 1958 to refine the grounds. In 1987, Eulalie Wagner donated the estate to a new nonprofit, and Lakewold opened to the public as a garden in 1989. That history shapes how events work here. Rather than booking back-to-back weddings, Lakewold reserves a limited number each year, giving couples exclusive use of the Wagner House and surrounding gardens instead of a single interior room. Ceremonies and receptions can host up to 150 guests among century-old trees and garden rooms shaped across nearly a century of horticultural stewardship, while smaller micro-weddings and elopements are available for couples who want a quieter version of the same setting, including the Tea House gazebo and the wisteria-covered veranda. The same Wagner House rooms — an Upper Conference Room, Living Room/Dining Room, Veranda, and Atrium — are also available to rent for birthday parties, showers, corporate retreats, and other private gatherings, each with a view out into the garden.

Set in the heart of West Seattle's Alaska Junction, the Alki Masonic Center is an 8,000-square-foot building whose 4,000-square-foot banquet hall welcomes weddings, business functions, charitable gatherings, and private parties. The hall pairs a polished hardwood floor for dining or dancing with a newly renovated stage, a state-of-the-art projector and professional sound system, Wi-Fi, and a 180-inch video screen the venue bills as West Seattle's largest. Rentals include 8-foot rectangular and 60-inch round tables and chairs, and a commercial kitchen with range, oven, refrigerator, and freezer is available to licensed caterers. Upstairs, a 4,000-square-foot carpeted lodge room with a vaulted ceiling and baby grand piano seats up to 300 for public ceremonies, religious services, or private gatherings. The building is handicap accessible, and ample free parking sits adjacent to the hall.

Dakota Place Park Building is a historic brick venue set within Dakota Place Park in West Seattle, within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and activities along California Avenue. The building pairs original brick and wood floors with updated conveniences like projectors, a flat-screen TV, and surround sound, mixing vintage character with modern function. The venue's main room connects to a smaller side room and opens onto a large outdoor patio and small lawn, giving hosts room to spread a celebration between indoor and outdoor space. It accommodates up to 110 seated guests or 160 standing, making it suited to wedding receptions, community gatherings, and private parties. The space is available for rental from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with facility tours offered on Friday mornings.

The Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center, located on the beaches of Lake Washington in Seattle's lovely Mount Baker neighborhood, is a stunning location for rowing and sailing. The site is located within the picturesque Stan Sayres Park, which provides a wonderful natural environment for any occasion. The new contemporary upper-floor event area is drenched in natural light and complemented with reclaimed wooden finishes, making it ideal for weddings, business parties, non-profit and social events. While two balconies provide 180-degree panoramic views of Lake Washington and the Cascades, a gas fireplace and a classic wooden racing shell provide a warm, inviting environment. Everyone who lives, works, or attends school in Mount Baker is automatically enrolled as a member of the Club. There are no membership dues to pay! The Mount Baker Community Club, founded in 1909, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to providing a meeting area for neighbors to get together, get to know one another, and foster a sense of community. Throughout the year, the Community Club offers a variety of activities and festivities. The Clubhouse can be rented for a variety of purposes, including private events, parties, off-site meetings, and other gatherings. You have the option of renting the full facility or simply the ballroom or conference room. The space is equipped with audio-visual equipment, a range of tables and seats, and a fully functional kitchen. If there is any equipment that we do not have on site, we have excellent working ties with numerous local suppliers that can meet all of your needs at competitive prices. Do you require a caterer? The event space is available for rent to the public and to Members, and includes a full kitchen with a buffet serving counter, commercial refrigerator and freezer and sink, stove, oven, dishwasher and commercial coffee maker. Round and rectangle tables are available for use as well as folding chairs; however dishes, glassware and linens are not provided. The Clubhouse has ample parking and is wheelchair-accessible with ramps to the building entrance and an elevator. In accordance with City of Bellevue noise ordinances, the Club and Bellevue Police enforce a 10:00 PM ending time for all music on weeknights and 11:00 PM on weekends.
