McConnell Estates Winery is an award-winning, family-owned winery set on 650 acres in the Cosumnes River AVA within the Lodi appellation, just south of Elk Grove, California. The property has been farmed by the Wackman family across six generations, and the historic tasting room occupies a ranch house originally built by the family in 1860. All wines are estate-grown and produced on-site, reflecting more than two decades of winemaking rooted in the land's distinctive red clay soils. For private events, the winery offers several gathering spaces accommodating groups from under 20 to 200 guests. The Historic Event Barn seats up to 125 guests indoors, with the option to expand to 200 by opening onto the adjacent Cocktail Courtyard. The Ceremony Lawn provides an outdoor setting for up to 200 guests framed by vineyard backdrops. The intimate Tasting Room, housed in the remodeled 1860 ranch house, is available for smaller gatherings of up to 75 guests in the evening. The Barn at Second Wind is a private event venue set on 6 acres of landscaped grounds along River Road, about 15 minutes south of downtown Sacramento. At the entrance stands an 80-year-old Heritage Valley Oak tree, and the centerpiece of the property is a 1940s galvanized metal barn offering 1,800 square feet of event space with polished cement floors, exposed wooden beams, and an original 1940s chandelier. The property accommodates up to 130 guests and provides multiple ceremony settings, including a spot beneath the heritage oak or under a wrought iron arch. Guests gather on the back patio among hay bales between ceremony and reception, and seasonal scenery — spring mustard fields and nearby riverside railroad tracks — adds to the venue's character. The barn's interior is appointed with hand-built 14-foot wooden tables and a curated inventory of décor and vintage furnishings available to couples. An on-site manager coordinates with vendors throughout the event, and exclusive use of the property is included. Complimentary guest parking, rehearsal access, and setup time the day prior round out the offering, making The Barn at Second Wind a self-contained setting for weddings, private parties, and family reunions.

With the lavish beauty provided by the lovely Iris Gardens, wedding staircase, and many unique features, your wedding will be as special as you are. Except for scheduled weddings, our iris gardens are open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the month of May only. (The website will list the closed dates.) The stunning Apple Hill region of Camino is home to the outdoor wedding destination High Sierra Iris & Wedding Gardens. From May through October, we host weddings. Our gorgeous flowers, trees, and leaves give a wonderful environment for your wedding whether it is in the spring, summer, or fall. The location has a gorgeous wedding stairway that leads to the reception pavilion and pond. A huge deck area, catering cabin, and barbecue area are also included. There is a wealth of outdoor landscape available year-round to give you countless backdrops for photos.

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Ione, California, The Heirloom Inn is a historic Greek Revival mansion built in 1863 from locally fired brick. Its classical columns, two-storied gallery, fan transoms, and French windows have defined the Amador County landscape for more than a century, and the property transitions seamlessly from a bed and breakfast inn into a full-service outdoor wedding venue each season from mid-April through October. The estate grounds accommodate ceremonies and receptions of up to 150 guests in a lush garden courtyard draped in ambient string lighting. Rental packages include tables, chairs, linens, and napkins alongside professional coordination and décor services, giving couples a complete foundation from rehearsal through the final toast. The wedding couple also receives a complimentary overnight stay at the inn. The Heirloom Inn is wheelchair accessible and available for Saturday and Sunday events, with full venue access provided from the day of arrival through the following morning.

Blue Line Arts is a regional arts nonprofit and gallery venue in Roseville, California, serving Placer County and the Greater Sacramento region since 1966. Originally founded as Roseville Community Projects Incorporated, the organization relocated in 2008 to its current purpose-built facility at 405 Vernon Street — a state-of-the-art space that houses rotating exhibitions alongside a dedicated education wing for youth and adult programming. The facility offers two rental configurations for private events. The Entire Facility encompasses all three galleries — the West Park Workshop Gallery, Coker Family Main Gallery, and Broad Education Gallery with patio — and accommodates up to 250 guests. The Broad Education Gallery with patio access rents independently for groups of up to 65. Both spaces come furnished with tables and chairs, a full kitchen, AV equipment, outdoor patio with café lighting, and complimentary on-site parking. The facility offers four rentable event spaces accommodating groups of 30 to 909 guests: a large Assembly Hall divisible into three sections, an intimate Social Room, a professional Dance Room, and a full-sized Gymnasium. The Assembly Hall alone spans 3,759 square feet and features a stage, dressing area, loading dock, and sound-dampening partitions that allow the space to flex for receptions, performances, corporate functions, and community programs. A commercial-grade kitchen is available to rent separately or in combination with other spaces to support catering. With accessible facilities including an elevator, the center is equipped to welcome guests of varying abilities. Event inquiries and rental applications are directed to the Community Services District office.

Cameron Park Lake is a man-made recreational lake established in 1951, situated in the Sierra Nevada foothills community of Cameron Park, California, and managed by the Cameron Park Community Services District since 1975. Located at 2989 Cambridge Road, the lake and its surrounding grounds offer a scenic lakeside setting for private gatherings, weddings, birthday parties, and corporate picnics year-round. The venue offers a covered gazebo area and two adjacent picnic areas — Picnic Area A and Picnic Area B — all with picnic tables and views of the water. A 1.1-mile walking path circles the shoreline, and the grounds also include a disc golf course, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, a playground, and catch-and-release fishing areas, giving guests room to explore between event activities. Reservations are handled through the Cameron Park Community Services District office at 2502 Country Club Drive. Renters are required to carry liability insurance and submit their application at least 30 days prior to the event date.
