Built in 1785 in the historic district of Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, the Lee-Fendall House was home to 37 members of the Lee family and later served as the Grosvenor Branch Hospital, treating wounded Union soldiers during the Civil War. Generations of enslaved and free African Americans also lived and worked on the property, and labor leader John L. Lewis, founder of the Congress of Industrial Organizations, later resided in the home during the height of his career. The Virginia Trust for Historic Preservation opened the house as a museum in 1974, and it is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Virginia Landmarks Register. Behind the house sits a half-acre walled garden that traces back to a Victorian-era redesign by the Cazenove family in the 1850s, with a rose garden, an herb garden, and magnolia, black walnut, and ginkgo trees planted around 1852. Entered through a gate on Washington Street, the garden is free and open to the public whenever the museum is open and has been certified as a National Wildlife Federation Wildlife Habitat since 2019. Today the Lee-Fendall House Museum and Garden offers guided tours, exhibitions, and educational programming exploring nearly two centuries of American history, from the Lee family's residency through the property's role as a Civil War hospital and its twentieth-century labor history.

Oxon Hill Manor is a stately home in the English countryside. Formal English gardens, rose bushes surrounding a reflecting pool, and a large brick patio for outdoor entertaining are among the features of the property's grounds. Rooms with wood floors, crystal chandeliers, and fireplaces can be found on the first and second floors, respectively. From the first-floor hallway, a sweeping circular staircase leads up to the second-floor landing.

Rippon Lodge is a Prince William County historic site built circa 1747 for Richard Blackburn, making it one of the oldest surviving homes in the county. Set on 43 acres above the Potomac River, the property includes formal gardens, walking trails, and the Blackburn and Atkinson family cemetery, with a history that spans colonial tobacco production, Revolutionary War-era politics, and a family connection to George Washington's nephew by marriage. The home was updated in a Colonial Revival style beginning in 1923 and remained with descendants of its original builder until Prince William County acquired it in 2000. For events, Rippon Lodge offers grounds rental with vast lawns and outdoor gardens overlooking the Potomac River, suited to weddings and receptions of up to 150 to 200 guests under large reception tents. Housed in a former Arlington County school building, the Museum of Contemporary Art Arlington (MoCA Arlington) has occupied its location since 1976. The building was constructed in 1910 to a design by architect Charles M. Robinson and served as a school before being adapted for cultural use; it is designated both an Arlington County Landmark and a listing on the National Register of Historic Places. A 2005 renovation restored the building's original Louis Comfort Tiffany Studio stained-glass windows, which remain a signature feature of the space today. Spanning 17,000 square feet, the museum houses nine exhibition galleries, twelve artist studios, and three classrooms. Its event spaces include the Tiffany Gallery, set beneath the restored stained-glass windows, along with several of the museum's rotating contemporary art galleries, together accommodating up to 150 guests for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. Old Town Hall is a stately Colonial Revival building at the heart of the nationally recognized City of Fairfax Historic District. Built in 1900 by Joseph E. Willard — later lieutenant governor of Virginia and U.S. ambassador to Spain — the hall was presented to the Town of Fairfax in 1902 and quickly became the center of Fairfax social life. Its neo-classical design combines Tuscan order columns with Federal-style details, including a fanlight window over the front doors and round-headed gabled dormers. The venue offers two rentable levels: a Main Floor accommodating up to 150 guests and an Upper Level for up to 120, suited to weddings, private parties, and meetings. Adjacent to the hall, the Kitty Pozer Garden offers a shaded, perennial-filled setting for photos, while the neighboring Old Town Square — with its splash pad, pergola, and patio furniture — can be reserved in conjunction with the hall for ceremonies and cocktail hours.
