Kemah Gardens is a wedding and event venue set on four private, gated acres of pines just two miles from the Kemah Boardwalk and roughly 30 miles from both Houston and Galveston. The property centers on a lake with an illuminated fountain and a vintage arbor, where ceremonies take place as the sun sets over the water; guests visiting Kemah Gardens have also spotted blue herons, egrets, red hawks, mallards, and turtles from the lake. The venue's climate-controlled pavilion accommodates up to 150 guests, with a covered patio adding room for 60 to 70 more. Inside, a 5,000-square-foot Tuscan-inspired interior houses a bridal suite, a groom's room, and a guest gathering area for up to 40 to 50 guests. Kemah Gardens hosts wedding ceremonies and receptions, quinceañeras, rehearsal dinners, corporate retreats, and family reunions, working with a network of preferred vendors. Sixteenth-century cottages, set on about an acre of groomed grounds, are filled with antiques and artifacts collected by the owner during his extensive journeys throughout the world. Each cottage is named after a renowned clipper ship, which is appropriate given the architecture of the cottage interior. The Oak Atelier is a one stop shop for professional photography, private event space, and woodworking. We have over 2500 square feet of interior space and 5 acres of open and wooded outdoor space just outside of The Woodlands, Texas. There are four different spaces available for rent, each with its own set of characteristics that make this location genuinely unique. The majority of the furniture is manufactured in our woodworking shop (special orders are welcome!). We have enough of parking and paved access for you to dump your belongings. There is also a gray plastered pool for underwater photography, as well as a lovely white brick facade, making this place ideal for any shot or event! When I was trying to come up with ideas for this space, a few things came to mind. I enjoy both a clean, modern style and the flavor and detailed design of old world Europe. This studio is a hybrid of the two, providing something extra special and unusual. The 17 foot ceilings, massive 9 foot doors salvaged from old mansions, polished concrete floors, and exposed brick are just a few of the features that give this space its unique personality. We primarily serve professional photographers and offer hourly studio rental, as well as wardrobe rental and a selection of larger furniture pieces that can be put up in any location. I can personally attest to how amazing this place is for private occasions after having my husband and I's wedding reception here!

The Pergola Allow your guests to be enchanted by the tall trees at The Pergola during your outdoor ceremony if you wish to keep things natural. The highly wooded tree line that forms the ceremony's backdrop gives an earthy tone, while the Pergola itself can be decked up to match your wedding's theme. This outside space also provides just enough shade for your visitors. Grand Hall The Grand Venue, with approximately 4,500 square feet of size, is our indoor reception hall. Built in 1870, the Giddings Stone Mansion sits on a hilltop near downtown Brenham, Texas, with views in every direction. The historic home is operated by the Heritage Society of Washington County alongside the neighboring 1843 Giddings Wilkin House, and it's used both for historic home tours and as a rental venue for weddings and private events. The mansion's eleven rooms, five bathrooms, 13-foot ceilings, and original fireplaces give indoor gatherings a period backdrop, while broad verandas wrap around both the upstairs and downstairs of the house. Leaded glass doors open the veranda for ceremonies, and groom and bridal party dressing suites are available on site.
