Within the gated property sits Pleasant Hill Mansion, an antebellum estate originally built in 1854 and once listed on the National Registry of Historic Landmarks, positioned atop one of the property's highest points overlooking the golf course. Pleasant Hill Mansion is a preserved antebellum mansion set atop one of the highest points at The Governors Club, overlooking the club's golf course in Brentwood, just outside Nashville. Built in 1854, the mansion was at one time listed in the National Registry of Historic Landmarks, giving the property a sense of history that few Nashville-area venues can match. Available for rental by members and non-members alike, the mansion suits everything from an intimate dinner party to a large wedding ceremony and reception, accommodating up to 250 guests. Couples can exchange vows in front of the mansion's gazebo, then celebrate with an indoor reception or move the party outdoors to the sprawling lawn, whether under a tent or dining al fresco among the gardens. Upstairs dressing rooms give the wedding party a place to get ready on-site. The Governors Club serves as the mansion's in-house caterer, handling food and beverage for every event, and its catering team works closely with couples - including those planning from out of town - through every stage of the planning process.

Cheekwood Estate & Gardens is the former family home of Mabel and Leslie Cheek, a 1930s Georgian-style mansion set on 55 acres in Nashville. Today it operates as a botanical garden, arboretum, and museum, with thirteen distinct gardens, a 1.5-mile woodland sculpture trail featuring contemporary outdoor art, and the restored Cheek Mansion, which showcases period furnishings and rotating exhibitions. For weddings and private events, Cheekwood offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces set against the rolling hills of Nashville's Percy Warner Park, from intimate garden settings like the Wisteria Arbor and Burr Terrace Garden to larger venues such as Massey Hall and the Historic Mansion & Swan Lawn. We hand-selected every board of poplar, white oak, and cedar for our barn and purchased it all from family-run businesses in nearby counties. Handmade farmhouse tables can be seen in the barn. Every table was handmade by Farmer Dan, who also created a unique organic grey-wash stain to give them their stunning color. There has been no detail omitted. Belle Meade Historic Site & Winery sits on roughly 30 acres just minutes from downtown Nashville, on grounds that once served as a 19th-century thoroughbred horse farm internationally recognized for its legacy of Southern hospitality. The estate's Greek Revival mansion and boxwood garden, shaded by centuries-old magnolia trees, provide a historic backdrop for wedding ceremonies, while six historic structures across the property give planners a range of settings to choose from for receptions and private events. For receptions, the Carriage House offers a climate-controlled space with exposed wood and historic brickwork, accommodating up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing. A tented option with solid flooring is also available, serving as a cocktail area, seated dinner space, or rain-plan backup for the same guest count. An on-site game court with bocce ball, horseshoes, cornhole, croquet, and a putting green gives guests something to do during cocktail hour. Scarritt Bennett Center is a nonprofit conference, retreat, and education center set on a 10-acre historic campus in Nashville. The campus began more than 100 years ago as the School for Christian Workers and today welcomes weddings, receptions, and private events alongside its ongoing mission-based programming. At the heart of the campus is Wightman Chapel, built in classic Gothic cathedral style in 1928 and designed with acoustics that resonate throughout the space. The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. preached in the chapel in 1957, and it has been featured in the PBS series "Designed for Worship" as one of the finest sacred spaces in Nashville. Adventure Science Center is a not-for-profit science and technology center perched atop a hill just minutes from downtown Nashville, with panoramic skyline views from several of its spaces. Best known for its 175-plus hands-on exhibits and the state-of-the-art Sudekum Planetarium, the center opens its 56,000 square feet of exhibit halls for private events after hours and on the days it's closed to the public. Event spaces range from the Jack Wood Hall, which seats up to 136 for a banquet with downtown views and built-in AV, to the West Galleries and the Wonders of the Universe hall, a second-floor space with an open layout, a built-in amphitheater, and NASA exhibits.
