Mawita is a warm colorful oasis in the mountainside community. The space transports you to your favorite South American escape. The restaurant has three unique dining sections. one featuring a double-sided fireplace, another with sweeping views of the mountains, and a third underneath our hanging garden. Mawita is the newest addition to Chef Mawa McQueen's - a James Beard semifinalist nominee in 2022 and the 2020 & 2022 Colorado Governors Minority business winner of the year - collection of restaurants. Mawita is located on the top floor of The Collective building in Snowmass Base Village, next to the ice skating rink. We strive to bring every customer a high level of service in a fun and inviting atmosphere. Mawita is the ideal place for corporate or private events in Snowmass Village. We can accommodate from the most intimate of gatherings in one of our private rooms, and up to 150 guests seated or 250 standing for a cocktail party setting. Legare Waring House is a wedding venue in Charleston, South Carolina. It was built in the 1840s. Imagine dancing the night away under moss draped oaks and exchanging vows while surrounded by natural beauty — this venue allows you to do just that. Governors, international leaders, and couples have all attended key events at the location. The mansion is decorated in classic Charleston colors and furnishings, giving it a lovely and attractive setting for a wedding. Legare Waring House has indoor and outdoor seating for up to 200 people. The house is surrounded by oak trees and has a screened porch, freshwater lagoons, a wrought iron water fountain, a fountain patio, tenting area, and a vendor access road. The Avenue of Oaks, the Wedding Oak, and the Wedding Garden are all good options for a ceremony.
