About Brooklyn Grange: Founded in 2010, Brooklyn Grange is the leading rooftop farming and intensive green roofing business in the US, operating the world’s largest rooftop soil farms, located in New York City. Our rooftop farms in Brooklyn span almost 5 acres and produce over 80,000 lbs of organically-grown vegetables per year. We sell our produce at farmers markets and through our sliding scale CSA program. Through our Equitable Distribution Program, nearly 60% of our annual yields are distributed to New Yorkers at no or low cost. Our Event Space: We invite you to celebrate at our beautiful, 3.2 acre rooftop farm in Sunset Park, Brooklyn. A bluestone path leads to two outdoor patios and our climate-controlled, 3,000 sq. ft. indoor event space. Flexible for private dinners, offsite team meetings, and group retreats year-round, floor-to-ceiling windows showcase views of the New York Harbor and Statue of Liberty by day. After golden hour, watch the blaze of sunset give way to the glittering lights of the Manhattan skyline. In-House Beverage Program: Prioritizing sustainable wine and spirits, local beer, housemade mixers, and farm-grown garnishes, we curate an in-house beverage program that is deliciously botanical-forward and also aims to send no waste to landfills. Located in Brooklyn, the Montauk Club is a historic venue that sets the stage for weddings and other milestone occasions. Defined by its delightful Venetian architecture, this Park Slope gem is rich with landmark charm. Lending a dash of tradition to the trendy Park Slope neighborhood, the club has been welcoming guests and members since the late 1800s. Boasting a superlative team dedicated to maintaining the venue’s customs of hospitality and inclusivity, this long-standing establishment provides the perfect backdrop for any event. The terracotta building features its original stained-glass windows from the club establishment in 1889. The interior features two event spaces: the Dining Room and the Ballroom. The expansive first-floor dining room can host an intimate or cozy reception and a beautiful second-floor bar and lounge, overlooking Plaza Street West, is the perfect backdrop for any event. Al Coro is a restaurant designed for special occasions. The main dining room can accommodate parties of up to ten people. Each night there is live music. Larger events can be accommodated in a number of private rooms. The menu has meals that take some artistic license in addition to regional Italian cookery. A array of little morsels called aperitivi is served before the main course, antipasti, two pasta courses, and desserts. A condensed 5-course menu is available for $195 per person or the full 7-course menu costs $245. The menu is updated every six weeks, and while we don't post the entire list, you can get a sneak peek at some of the dishes on our Instagram at @alcoro.nyc if you can't stand the anticipation! Our main dining area has a private room that can accommodate up to 12 people on the mezzanine. For exclusive gatherings, underground private dining rooms may accommodate 180 people. Up to 200 people can be seated in the main dining room comfortably, and up to 1000 people can attend standing celebrations.
