The Knoxville Botanical Garden and Arboretum sits on 44 acres in East Knoxville that were home to the Howell family nurseries for nearly 220 years. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the grounds preserve 16 historic structures, two miles of stone walls and walking trails, a level one arboretum, and 18 display gardens of local, ornamental, and exotic flora — a landscape shaped by the Howells, who introduced pink dogwoods to the region and installed the iconic stonework still found throughout the property. For weddings and private events, the Garden offers a range of indoor and outdoor spaces set among this historic scenery. The Dogwood Center, an American Architecture Award-winning building with floor-to-ceiling windows, overlooks the Dogwood Trail and Rita Johnson Garden and is the Garden's most sought-after reception space. The century-old Carriage House offers a more intimate, rustic setting with an attached flagstone patio and vine-covered pergola. Outdoors, couples can exchange vows at the Stone Terraces, the ivy-draped Stone Greenhouse, the Martha Ashe Garden, or LeConte Meadow, a 16,000-square-foot lawn with views of the Great Smoky Mountains suited to open-air ceremonies and tented receptions. Built to serve Civil War sailors, the Old Naval Hospital eventually became a Hospital Corps training school, then an old solider’s home, and then office space for the D.C. government. By the early 2000's, the facility was neglected and ultimately abandoned. In 2002, community members stepped up to save the site, forming the Old Naval Hospital Foundation. Today, Hill Center is home to lectures, culinary and cultural events, private events, and outstanding artwork. The campus offers a historic venue for private events with modern amenities, including beautifully restored indoor rooms and lush garden areas—ideal for both small gatherings and larger functions. Centrally located by the Eastern Market Metro, Hill Center is a hub for social gatherings, weddings, parties, and cultural events! ABOUT OUR HISTORIC BUILDING In the mid-1940's, a group of civic minded citizens came together to make Dorothy Jackson’s dream come to fruition: to make Middleburg the social hub of Loudoun and Fauquier County. Over the years, the center has hosted the Kennedy's, Elizabeth Taylor, and Hank Williams, just to name a few. The residents of Middleburg have fostered a pristine public space for everybody to enjoy. Whether you're looking to host an event, or just take a walk in the park, we hope to see you here soon. OUR VENUE From intimate gatherings in the loft, to grand galas in the ballroom, the indoor facility can accommodate up to 320 people in the full venue depending on layout. Our facilities offer an elegant space featuring 24" soaring ceilings in the Grand Ballroom, 12,000+ square feet of facility space, private gardens and grounds, and elegant architecture that serves as a timeless backdrop to your core memories. The five acre property backs up to the Salamander Resort, is down the street from the historic Red Fox Inn, and includes a public pool, shaded picnic grounds with grills, two playgrounds, an open field, and secluded herb garden and patio - as well as ample private parking and all walkable to towns finest eateries and establishments. Other treasured local accommodations include The Goodstone Inn and the charming historic Welbourne Inn.

Bubby's High Line is in the center of New York's Meatpacking District, located directly across from the Whitney museum. Bubby's can accommodate up to 100 guests for seated events and up to 130 guests for cocktail-style receptions. The restaurant's outdoor patio is available for group dining and cocktail events, and is perfect for events of all types.

The National Museum of the United States Army preserves and honors the accomplishments, sacrifices and commitment of American Soldiers. As America’s Army Museum we are home to all Soldiers: past, present and future. The Museum offers several indoor and outdoor spaces for you to host a ceremony or special event. Managed by the Army Historical Foundation, the special events team will work with you to craft the perfect occasion.
