Funeral home weddings are becoming increasingly popular, and Atlanta's historic Oakland Cemetery is a particularly gorgeous location for an outdoor ceremony. As a Victorian garden cemetery and the site of Atlanta's first park, we're continuing on the Victorian tradition of making Oakland a place to commemorate the lives and loves of the city's 70,000 citizens, as did the Victorians. A covered space that can accommodate up to 50 people is available in addition to open-air locations that may accommodate up to 250 guests in total. When not in use as a functioning greenhouse, the Beaumont Allen Greenhouse may be rented out for special events from September through May. Depending on the layout, the greenhouse can be arranged in a variety of different ways. During the fall, winter, and spring, the Beaumont Allen Greenhouse is available for rent to the general public. Oakland's 48 acres offer a variety of unique and attractive settings for a wide range of private events of varied sizes and scope.
