While the Tea Room continues to be popular, Varela thought something a little less feminine was in order and she renovated another cottage to create the Village Chalet Restaurant. A crowning touch among the twenty-five restored structures is a small chapel that she transformed in gratitude for having a “blessed life”, and as a spot for people to stop into for quiet reflection. This Brewery has a separate hidden private 1920's theme bar/lounge called The Speakeasy, which was actually the original bar of Spanish Marie. The Speakeasy is available to rent for any occasion, such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Corporate Meetings, Baby Showers, Rehearsal Dinners, Weddings and more. The Speakeasy holds up to 55 guests, and its equipped with surround sound system, projector, fireplace, two restrooms and outside seating. A historically designated property in the Redland district, is an Old Florida Wood Frame Vernacular House & Tropical Garden with all of its original bells and whistles and old world charm everywhere you look. The 2-Story house features expansive porch, high ceiling foyer and clever use of internal doors to make the spaces expansive or intimate as the occasion calls for. This magical property from a bygone era began with an incredible story about the fabulous Colonel Henry Johnston Wallace from Kentucky who was known as the Wizard of Palm Lodge Grove for his ability to cultivate over 8,000 incredible specimens of tropical fruits and flowers - many not found anywhere else in America. This tropical oasis features colorful butterfly gardens that were claimed to have been planted by one of South Florida’s famous founding fathers, David Fairchild who was an honorary pallbearer at Colonel Henry’s funeral. Once you enter the property, you’re transported back to a simpler time on two acres of a glorious paradise whose stellar secret gardens showcase its grand dame: Palm Lodge. The Old Florida inspired décor at Palm lodge is intended to transport you back 100 years by combining some of the original dark wood furniture left behind at the home, vintage white wicker accents and a deliberate and consistent tropical color palette of pink, white and green. Hacienda Los Robles is a rustic wedding venue located in the Redlands, a short drive from Miami. Our barn is nestled in a grove of lush lychee trees. The 4,200 square foot air-conditioned barn was completed in February 2019. Hacienda Los Robles has two event packages. Package A is all-inclusive. With the All-Inclusive Package, they aim to help you make your dreams come true. Your wedding day should be as exquisite and unique as you are, from the flavor of the cake to the location of your ceremony. Let us help you customize your wedding so that your special day is everything you envisioned. No site fee, just one package cost. Our couples typically break down their event into four segments: a welcome area, the ceremony, a cocktail hour, and the wedding reception. Venue With the All-Inclusive Package, couples may pick and choose from the following onsite locations: Lychee Grove, Outdoor Barn Terrace, or Inside the Air-Conditioned Barn.
