At Oak Cliff, Texas, have your wedding in the historic Tyler Station industrial building. Wedding ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, and other events are held at Wax Space, a community coworking space. This open-air, fully renovated space, which was once home to the Dixie Wax Paper Company, will leave your guests feeling inspired and energetic without sacrificing the comfort of a ‘old world' factory. Wax Space, located in the center of Oak Cliff (only minutes from Downtown Dallas), has one 2,200 sq. ft. main floor with five large (west-facing) windows and three ceiling skylights that let in plenty of natural light. Our 25-foot exposed vaulted wood ceiling, combined with our Mexico City-inspired lounge space, creates a light and airy atmosphere for up to 125 guests. There are also 40 wooden seats, 6 tables, Loading Dock Access, a Mezzanine cooking area with a sink, microwave, and large refrigerator, Fiber Internet, Wireless Music System, Restrooms, and lots of parking in our space. The TX Studio, our sibling company located downstairs, provides you with 2,000 square feet of additional lovely space. Before and after the ceremony, use the TX Studio for your first look and wedding party photos, or as a private location for the Groomsmen or Bridesmaids. The TX Studio also has a Cactus Garden where you may capture some exterior shots! For all wedding and reception ceremonies, Wax Space provides two economical packages. The Full Day plan, which is available on Saturday and Sunday, allows you to use the area for 14 hours. The Half-Day plan includes 8 hours of space use and is available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you have a shorter time period in mind, please contact us because we would still be happy to arrange your event. Both packages include all of the aforementioned features, as well as vendor suggestions (including our next-door neighbors, a Wedding Cake Bakery and Microbrewery) and on-site staff support.

Communion Celebrations Communion Events arose from a flood of requests from members of our community who wanted to utilize our space for their birthday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and so on. As a result, we immediately built an events program to meet their needs while also allowing our Coworking members to use the space. With this, we can now provide the main Coworking space after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. We're always seeking for new ways to put the space to creative use, and the events have provided us with an opportunity to do so. We host a number of different events, including public, private, and ticketed events. Communion Restaurant offers a variety of exclusive food and bar choices to ensure that each occasion is a turnkey, one-of-a-kind experience. Each quarter, Communion hosts one public event. This includes our annual Crawfest benefit for Capernaum Young Life (Sean Mann) in the spring, our monthly Artisan Market, and Meet the Heroes, when kids dress up as super heroes and meet our local heroes in the police, fire, and EMT departments. We provide a wide range of ticketed events. We recently established Communion Unplugged, a monthly music series. Santa's Breakfast, Sharing Table multi-course pairing dinners, sporting watch parties, and so on are all on the list. In terms of private gatherings, we can assist with almost any event under 200 people. To mention a few, operas, high school graduations, weddings, receptions, sweet sixteens, baby showers, book launch parties, company parties, Christmas parties, High School dances, church events, and a 50th wedding anniversary... Every event is focused on excellence and execution. We bring the Richardson community together in a variety of ways around a particular experience on any given day through events. In a way that is unique to Communion, this has allowed us to engage with and invest in the community. Communion is a location where Richardson locals create and celebrate their memories.

An industrial chic venue, we recently underwent a $7MM “to the studs” renovation to make us a perfect location for hosting events of any kind, from an intimate happy hour to a full-blown company holiday party to a private concert featuring a local or national artist with full production. The Bomb Factory and Factory Ballroom is available for daily or week-long rentals, so we can accommodate single-day events and week-long celebrations. Located just minutes south of downtown Fort Worth, BRIK offers clients a versatile space with all the amenities. The charms of this old brick warehouse can be customized to almost any style – vintage, industrial, rustic, modern, simplistic or elaborate. With separate ceremony and reception areas, an outdoor courtyard, and gorgeous dressing rooms, clients can check off all of their venue needs in one space. This 100 year-old building was once a textile mill. During renovations, many of the charming characteristics were preserved, including the original hardwood floors and old scale. The building sat vacant for years until late 2015 when Lynsie acquired the space and set her vision in motion. Today, BRIK is one of the first established businesses in the up and coming neighborhood of Near Southside. This Fort Worth venue offers clients a clean, open space with historic charm and modern amenities, perfect for your wedding and reception or any celebration.

Built over a 55-year period beginning in 1924, the four buildings that make up Lone Star Gas Lofts are situated on a full city block bounded by Harwood, Wood, St. Paul and Jackson Streets in downtown Dallas. Two of the structures, the Lone Star Gas Co. and Dallas Gas Company buildings, are historic landmarks and fine examples of Lang and Witchell architecture with beautiful Art Deco details and are Dallas’ latest historic landmarks to be revived by Hamilton Properties in partnership with Central Dallas CDC.The Lone star Gas Co. Building is a thirteen story Art Deco structure with rich street entrances bearing ornate light fixtures. The elaborately appointed lobby once served as the bill payment area, back in the age when paying your bill meant taking a trip downtown, and still has soaring columns with ornamental check stands, a high beamed ceiling in brilliant colors and relief sculptures carved into the stone walls. This part of the historic building is now home to The Carlisle Room. Opulent is the best way to describe this newly renovated downtown venue. Twenty foot ceilings, terrazzo floors and marble pillars are just a few of the highlights of this historic 1930's Art Deco design. The addition of a private bridal and groom's suite is what it means to have your cake and eat it too.
