Dunes West Golf & River Club is one of Charleston's most exquisite and popular venues for gatherings of all kinds, located on the scenic site of the historic Lexington Plantation along the banks of Wagner Creek. Dunes West is undoubtedly one of the South's best clubs, and the perfect backdrop for any occasion or celebration, from the avenue of arching live oaks that leads to the antebellum-style clubhouse to the breathtaking water vistas to the gracious yet thorough service. It's no surprise that Dunes West is a recurrent choice among brides, given to its incomparable beauty and experienced event crew, which includes a team of culinary artists who provide some of the greatest cuisine in the area. The Food and Beverage Director will assist in the planning of all functions, including food and beverage arrangements, facility set up, and event timeline, to ensure that all elements are confirmed and agreed upon in advance. Tables, chairs, flatware, china, glasses, and linens will be provided as available and depending on the nature of the event at Dunes West Golf and River Club. The cost of any additional products that the club needs to hire will be added to the final total. The employees of Dunes West Golf and River Club will set up tables, chairs, and linens, but will not be responsible for decorations, props, or flowers. Candles, props, decorations, and other special objects should be brought in the day before or the morning of the celebration. Any objects not belonging to The Club that are left behind should be picked up the morning after the function. The Club is not responsible for any objects that are not removed promptly after an event. The guest is responsible for all floral arrangements, musical arrangements, cakes, and photographs. Vendors who have previously worked with Dunes West Golf and River Club can be recommended by the Food and Beverage Director. The room will usually be ready to decorate by 7 a.m. for a morning event, 9 a.m. for a lunch event, and 3 p.m. for an evening event. Vendor deliveries should be coordinated with the Director of Food & Beverage. The facility is open to both members and non-members of Dunes West Golf and River Club. All events require a $500 deposit or 50% of the room cost, whichever is lower, which will be deducted from the final payment. There are no refunds on any deposits. Before a deposit is received, no date will be reserved.

The property is tucked away in the shade of oak trees. The Arch is a two-story historic residence that has been lovingly restored to reflect the essence of southern gentility and charm. The mansion, which was built in 1940, previously belonged to a notable Moncks Corner family. It is now a popular setting for anything from wedding showers to the main event, thanks to Mary Wilson's artistic abilities. Perfect for the wedding you've always wanted. The property has a lovely front yard and huge rooms that can accommodate everything from a small gathering to a large gathering. A gorgeous opulent bridal suite, groom's room, and private room for the first look or meeting the special someone who will guide you down the aisle are all located upstairs. Conversational seating, a wood-burning fireplace, a bar, and exquisite lighting can be found outside in the open-air Pavilion. The lovely wedding gardens are reached by a wooden walkway. Our onsite team has years of expertise making your big day appear stress-free. Wedding planners, day-of coordinators, florals, and designers are all part of the A-Team. You'll have everything you need for your big day. The Arch is the go-to site in Berkeley County for planning a huge event or hosting a small gathering of friends, and it's strategically located on Main Street in Moncks Corner. Old Santee Canal Park is a 195-acre park in Moncks Corner that opened in 1989 to commemorate the building of the first true canal in America, with exhibits documenting the area's history and habitat dating back to 4000 B.C. The park sits along Biggin Creek's backwaters and swamp environment and is threaded with four miles of boardwalks, drawing bird watchers, hikers, and paddlers. The park's event spaces include the Stony Landing House, an 1840s plantation home on a bluff overlooking the Tailrace Canal with period reproduction furnishings on its first floor and a brick-paved, lit under-story for evening use, suited to weddings, receptions, reunions, and business meetings. The Interpretive Center offers a 30-foot glass wall facing Biggin Creek, historical exhibits, and three decks, and is available for after-hours events including receptions. The Learning Center, with two porches and lawn picnic tables for breakout sessions, accommodates small conferences, retreats, and corporate training. Within the Interpretive Center, the air-conditioned and heated Canal Room seats 30 to 40 guests for meetings, showers, and parties. The Little David Picnic Shelter, a 32-by-32-foot covered structure with nine picnic tables, a grill, and electric service, sits near restrooms and a playground for casual outdoor gatherings.

The Alley Charleston is a bowling and entertainment venue set in a 16,870-square-foot warehouse space along Charleston's Upper King Street corridor. Eight lanes of retro bowling anchor the room, alongside basketball, ping-pong, Skee-Ball, pinball, and vintage arcade games, making it a natural fit for groups looking to mix a party with activities rather than sit through a standard reception. A 40-foot bar crafted from a reclaimed bowling lane runs through the space, and Home Team Kitchen operates a 150-seat restaurant on site, so food and drink are handled in-house. Two large projection screens and multiple TVs round out the room for game-day gatherings and watch parties. Event space is flexible enough for groups of 10 to 400, including a 1,900-square-foot mezzanine lounge for private parties above the main floor.
