Lakes at Lacey is a versatile event venue surrounded by a scenic lake, wooded groves, and open green space. It’s designed to host a wide range of gatherings—from weddings and receptions to cultural and religious celebrations, corporate functions, conferences, and tradeshows. Venue Highlights: Lakeview Conservatory Ballroom – A spacious ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and views of our lake and neighboring forest preserve. Founded in 1922 by legendary businessman, Paul Butler, the Oak Brook Polo Club is an American Polo treasure and one of the oldest polo clubs in the United States. It was once the sport's epicenter for elite professional polo in the United States and served as home to the U.S. Open Polo Championship for twenty-four straight seasons and other prestigious international and national polo tournaments. For decades the Club has been a popular Sunday tradition and social scene known for entertaining Hollywood celebrities, dignitaries, royalty and Chicago's distinguished. Today, the Oak Brook Polo Club plays on the Prince of Wales Field, which is adjacent to the Butler National Golf Course and The Drake Hotel in beautiful Oak Brook, Illinois. Our enthusiastic and knowledgeable events team is prepared to help you plan the perfect event, from private happy hours and birthday celebrations to corporate buyouts and off-site catering. The dining area allows your visitors to see and be seen while enjoying the natural surroundings of a rural Greek setting. With views of the whole venue, the main bar takes center stage and creates the ideal reception-style gathering space. The Villa offers a cozy eating experience for smaller groups. The lounge, equipped with elegant furniture and looking out over the main dining area and bar, is the perfect place to unwind after work and enjoy a drink away from the bustle of other guests. The idea for VIOLÍ was initially sparked by David Rekhson and Lucas Stoioff of DineAmic Hospitality Partners. They traveled throughout Greece, where they developed a fresh respect for the authentically Greek way of life. After returning from their vacation, the hospitality company launched LÝRA in the West Loop neighborhood of Fulton Market, bringing Greek cuisine and famous celebrity chef Athinagoras Kostaos to the Western Suburbs.
