Beartown Lakes Reservation is a park managed by the Geauga Park District, set along the shores of two lakes within a mature beech-maple forest in Auburn and Bainbridge Townships. Two reservable covered shelters — North Point Shelter and Minnow Shelter — accommodate outdoor gatherings, each equipped with picnic tables, electrical outlets, a grill, and nearby restroom facilities. North Point Shelter overlooks Lower Bear Lake and hosts up to 72 guests, while Minnow Shelter, tucked among the trees, welcomes up to 75 guests. Three trails totaling 2.8 miles wind through the park, and a new boardwalk-style gathering space and accessible overlook, completed in 2025, add to the venue's event offerings. Riley Bros is an arcade venue that has all thats needed to ensure you and your guests have a fun time. Our space can comfortably accomodate up to 30 people. There are four folding tables and 26 folding chairs. There is additional seating in the gaming area, 3 gaming chairs and 6 chairs for spectators. There are also 3 stools for the arcade machines. Our space offers foosball, air hockey, 2 player basketball, gaming consoles, 2 tvs and more.

Tucked inside Fred Fuller Park in Kent, Ohio, the Old Kent Jailhouse is a historic building turned intimate gathering space, operated by Kent Parks & Recreation. The single-room venue seats up to 22 guests at six six-foot tables, making it a natural fit for bridal showers, baby showers, photoshoots, and small meetings. A large deck overlooks the Cuyahoga River, lending small celebrations a scenic outdoor perch. Inside, renters have use of a kitchenette, tables and chairs for 22, restrooms, air conditioning, and public Wi-Fi. Parking sits at the bottom of the sidewalk leading up to the building. The jailhouse is available on weekday evenings and throughout the day on weekends, with dates bookable up to six months in advance through Kent Parks & Recreation.

Founded in 1894, Portage Country Club ranks among the top ten oldest clubs in America — an institution born during Akron's rubber industry boom that has operated continuously for more than a century. The Tudor-style clubhouse, designed by Chicago architect Howard Shaw and formally opened in 1906, has been painstakingly preserved through two rebuilds after separate fires, each time restoring rather than replacing the original character. Private events at Portage are hosted in the Directors Room and the Ballroom, whose majestic views set the stage for wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, corporate dinners, and milestone gatherings. The club's private rooms collectively accommodate up to 500 guests. An Executive Chef and pastry team design custom menus for each event, and a dedicated Events Manager guides clients through planning and vendor coordination from first inquiry through event day. Hale Farm & Village is a living history museum operated by the Western Reserve Historical Society, set on 90 acres within Cuyahoga Valley National Park between Cleveland and Akron. The property encompasses 32 mid-19th-century historic structures arranged around a preserved village green, offering a setting unlike conventional event venues. Multiple spaces accommodate gatherings across a wide range of sizes. The climate-controlled Gatehouse Visitor's Center seats up to 220 guests and can connect to the adjacent Mary Jane Davis Hartwell Community Room, which holds 75. The restored 1852 Meetinghouse chapel — the focal point of the historic East Side village — seats up to 170. The open-air Carriage Pavilion, perched on a hill overlooking the farm, accommodates 120 to 150 guests, while the Carriage Manufactory, a two-story red barn with a collection of antique carriages on its first floor, seats 75 on its upper level. For larger events, the Full Farm package combines both the West Side and East Side of the property. Free parking is available for all events.
