With more than 35,000 square feet of space available, we are able to host parties ranging in size from three to three hundred in magnificent fashion. It will be a night that your guests will never forget, whether you opt for an intimate setting in the Museum gallery or a nostalgic dining or dance experience under the wings of a classic DC-3 airliner from the 1940s. Either way, it will be a night that you won't soon forget! The Museum offers a wide variety of venues for you to choose from, including the following: The Hangar that surrounds the Flagship Knoxville DC-3 has a capacity of 281, and it may be split in half to accommodate smaller gatherings if that is what is required. All of the attendees in the American Airlines Theatre, which has a capacity of 116, will be seated in previously used first-class aircraft seats. This venue is ideal for hosting seminars and conferences. The Classroom has space for 62 people, making it an excellent choice for exclusive training sessions or as a separate bridal suite. Astoria Event Venue is located 15 minutes north of downtown Dallas and is over 23,000 sqft. The main event hall is over 12,500 square feet and can easily be scaled to comfortably host sit down events with over 700 guests. Complimenting the large main space are two additional furnished suites – each one over 1,100 square feet. Astoria has 18-foot ceilings, spacious catering and prep areas (to accommodate large plated dinners), ample and convenient parking, and state of the art Audio and Video systems already installed throughout the venue. Communion Celebrations Communion Events arose from a flood of requests from members of our community who wanted to utilize our space for their birthday parties, dinner parties, graduation parties, and so on. As a result, we immediately built an events program to meet their needs while also allowing our Coworking members to use the space. With this, we can now provide the main Coworking space after 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and all day on weekends. We're always seeking for new ways to put the space to creative use, and the events have provided us with an opportunity to do so. We host a number of different events, including public, private, and ticketed events. Communion Restaurant offers a variety of exclusive food and bar choices to ensure that each occasion is a turnkey, one-of-a-kind experience. Each quarter, Communion hosts one public event. This includes our annual Crawfest benefit for Capernaum Young Life (Sean Mann) in the spring, our monthly Artisan Market, and Meet the Heroes, when kids dress up as super heroes and meet our local heroes in the police, fire, and EMT departments. We provide a wide range of ticketed events. We recently established Communion Unplugged, a monthly music series. Santa's Breakfast, Sharing Table multi-course pairing dinners, sporting watch parties, and so on are all on the list. In terms of private gatherings, we can assist with almost any event under 200 people. To mention a few, operas, high school graduations, weddings, receptions, sweet sixteens, baby showers, book launch parties, company parties, Christmas parties, High School dances, church events, and a 50th wedding anniversary... Welcome to the Urban Fire House, a cutting-edge event venue unlike any other—and the headquarters of award-winning Urbanology Designs. The Engine Room was reinvented and wonderfully remodeled in February 2019, using Scandinavian materials, white-washed walls, and natural artifacts to create a timeless yet magical feel. The magnificent, natural light cascading from the enormously tall, north-facing, floor-to-ceiling windows adds a great touch to everything. It's the ideal site for up to 95 guests, and it's a wonderful spot for intimate wedding ceremonies and parties. This area is custom-designed to handle all you need, including a luxury kitchen, smart audio/visual technology, a huge outdoor basalt garden, executive conference room, and even elegant restrooms. We have various alternatives available to you, whether it's a corporate meeting, classroom-style event, photography, VIP-style party, or family reunion. The Engine Room is a 1720 square foot open area with dark concrete floors, a 36-foot wall of windows, white walls, and exposed ceilings. The Conference Space is a private room with white oak wood floors and a huge conference table that looks out over the engine room. Mongram GE appliances (refrigerator, range, microwave, ice machine), prep space, and a view in the kitchen. Two private bathrooms with upscale and modern finishes, one for men and one for women. The Frontiers of Flight Museum is located on Lemmon Avenue, in the southeastern corner of Dallas Love Field Airport, just south of the terminal building. It debuted in June 2004 and is a strikingly designed 100,000-square-foot building that includes more than 30 aircraft and space vehicles, more than a dozen thematic exhibitions, a 200-seat auditorium, specialized classrooms and conference spaces, as well as a children's discovery section. There are a variety of event rental and production choices available in two climate-controlled aircraft hangar-like structures that are connected by a connecting structure on both levels. The historic Mustang Aviation hangar, which has been in operation since the 1940s, is housed within the northern structure, which contains the original foundation and framework of the building. There is easy access to runways 13L-31R from the Museum's six-acre area, which also includes free illuminated and secure parking for 370 automobiles, with additional space available for overflow.
