Western Golf & Country Club is a member-owned private country club established in 1926 in Redford, Michigan, and celebrating its centennial in 2026. Nicknamed "The Club of Good Fellowship," the property spans more than 170 acres centered on a championship golf course designed by Donald Ross and opened in 1927 — with tree-lined fairways, subtle greens, and the Rouge River winding through the layout. The course has historically hosted the Michigan Open (1939 and 1951) and the Motor City Open (1956). The building retains its original Japanese-inspired murals, ornate chandelier lighting, and a 3-manual, 10-rank Barton pipe organ — installed when the theatre first opened to accompany silent films.
