Rippon Lodge is a Prince William County historic site built circa 1747 for Richard Blackburn, making it one of the oldest surviving homes in the county. Set on 43 acres above the Potomac River, the property includes formal gardens, walking trails, and the Blackburn and Atkinson family cemetery, with a history that spans colonial tobacco production, Revolutionary War-era politics, and a family connection to George Washington's nephew by marriage. The home was updated in a Colonial Revival style beginning in 1923 and remained with descendants of its original builder until Prince William County acquired it in 2000. For events, Rippon Lodge offers grounds rental with vast lawns and outdoor gardens overlooking the Potomac River, suited to weddings and receptions of up to 150 to 200 guests under large reception tents. Music is permitted, and couples may bring in a caterer of their choice, with wine, beer, and champagne allowed under proper permits. Guided tours of the historic home can be arranged for guests on the day of an event with advance notice.

Black Horse Manor is an event venue on Meetze Road in Warrenton, Virginia, offering a newly renovated Grand Ballroom (60' x 100') alongside a Small Ballroom (85' x 80') for weddings and private celebrations, with a maximum guest capacity of 350. Both indoor and outdoor options are available for ceremonies and cocktail hours, giving couples flexibility in how they design their day. The venue includes a Bridal Suite with a full bathroom, vanity mirror, and closet, and a Groom's Suite with a half bathroom, mirror, and closet, so wedding parties can get ready on site. For over 65 years, Springfield Golf & Country Club has been a private gathering place for members and their families in Springfield, Virginia, offering a golf course, tennis and racquets courts, a pool, and patio. Alongside its membership programs, the club hosts nonmember events such as weddings, galas, and seminars in its second-floor event spaces, with sponsorship by a member preferred but not required. The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 220 guests for weddings, quinceañeras, and company holiday parties, with a chandelier, a large picture window overlooking the golf course, and access to a balcony with additional seating and lounge space.
