The Paces Room features high ceilings, wine racks, and exposed brick walls, all of which combine to provide an enticing ambiance for a gourmet event that is one-of-a-kind and unforgettable. It can accommodate 16 to 35 guests for lunch and supper at hand-crafted round tables, and the area can be reconfigured to accommodate both professional private dining and smaller parties. Visitors can take use of the grounds for a standing reception prior to their function if the weather is warm enough. The Paces Space is equipped with an 80" flat screen monitor that is incorporated into the room and is HDMI compliant, which may be used for presentations. Canoe’s Wine Room is the ideal spot for smaller, more intimate celebrations and gatherings. The private room seats 10 to 18 guests at an impressive rectangular handcrafted wooden table that was built into the space. The interior of the room blends wood, brick, and ironwork with vintage-select, handcrafted wines, creating a warm, rich, inviting ambiance for our guests. In warmer weather, guests can enjoy and peruse the gardens for a standing reception prior to their event. The Wine Room is also equipped for presentations, with a specially fitted screen on-site available for rent. Canoe’s covered patio offers guests unparalleled views of the Chattahoochee River and surrounding manicured gardens. The patio can accommodate private dining groups of 15 to 20 guests at either one or two long wooden tables. Canoe’s River Garden offers a picturesque backdrop that will elevate any occasion. The River Garden can accommodate 40 to 140 guests for special occasions, corporate events, or rehearsal dinners. For weddings we can accommodate 50 to 140 guests. The tent is positioned on brick pavers and it’s interior features a tent liner, chandeliers on dimmer switches and pole curtains. Canoe provides fans for cross-ventilation during the warmer months and clear sidewalls and heaters on thermostats for the colder months. Live entertainment is permitted, DJ or band, and there is a noise restriction for entertainment at 10:00 p.m.

Enjoy true full-day access from 8:00 AM to 1:30 AM, so your timeline never feels rushed. If the day prior is open, we can arrange early set-up for décor and vendor staging. Every booking includes tables & chairs, a DJ-friendly sound system with microphones, a moveable rolling bar, high-speed Wi-Fi and TV, clean restrooms, and an on-site venue manager to keep everything running smoothly. We’ll also help with custom floor plans so your flow—ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception—feels intuitive and stunning in photos. Bring your dream team: outside caterers, DJs, and décor vendors are welcome with proof of insurance. For guest safety, alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender, and our no-shots policy is kindly enforced. Day-of event liability insurance is included with your rental; for events over 100 guests, please provide a COI naming Designed Events as additional insured. Security may be recommended based on event type and guest count—we’re happy to advise. Booking is simple and transparent: a $500 Save-the-Date deposit reserves your date, a $500 refundable damage deposit is returned after a successful post-event walk through (typically 1 business day), and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your event. Yarborough Mill is truly a magical place where very special memories are made. If you desire an authentic, rustic outdoor wedding near Atlanta, search no more. Established in 1849, Yarborough Mill is a privately owned historical property in a very unique setting. Once a working gristmill and thriving settlement at the turn of the century it has been transformed into a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. Its special blend of architecture, from the gristmill at the water’s edge, to the stately Victorian home on the hillside, is perfectly situated in a beautiful pastoral setting on the water, creating a stunning background for your outdoor wedding. In 1998, the property was purchased and lovingly restored by the current owners to its original state. Their efforts to stay true to the original design is evident at every turn. Built in 1885, the Queen Anne style Victorian home creates a pituresque backdrop for pictures and a ceremony. A separate bridal cottage is also available and has plenty of room for the whole wedding party. The Pavillion area by the water is the perfect setting to recite your vows, and afterward, guests can proceed to the Mill for the reception. They will enjoy meandering the beautifully landscaped grounds which create a small village feel, as they walk by the old general store and barn, where mail was once delivered by horseback.

The Cedars Weddings & Events is an Acworth, Georgia-based venue. This venue offers a number of event packages that can be customized to incorporate a variety of services. Couples can host personal or big ceremonies, receptions, or elopements using a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces. More than 150 guests can be accommodated in the renovated home on the grounds. The beautiful ballroom, which has floor-to-ceiling windows and crystal chandeliers, can be used for an indoor ceremony and celebration. Couples can host up to 200 seated guests in the four-acre gardens and gazebo for an outdoor reception. A get-ready area, on-site parking, and accessible access are all available at this location. (For the only purpose of the ceremony, pets are welcome.) This location offers all-inclusive wedding packages to suit a wide range of needs and budgets. Their dedicated wedding coordinator is available to meet with couples before to their event to go through the finer points. They are also happy to organize rehearsals and reception coordination in order to make first dances, toasts, and bouquet tossing more convenient. The setup and cleanup of their event products, including as tables, chairs, linens, china, flatware, glasses, and barware, can be handled by their pleasant crew. The venue can organize entertainment services, such as hiring a DJ or a harpist. Couples may bring their own booze, and the venue can supply friendly bartenders for open or cash bars. Adriane's Delectables, Inc. is the venue's preferred catering caterer. This firm, which specializes in homemade cuisine, seeks to create delectable and refreshing food for special occasions. After your ceremony, stroll across the bridge for cocktails outside on the Museum Terraces. If you prefer an inside option, the Atlanta History Museum has award-winning exhibitions, and we allow beverages in the exhibits for a very fun cocktail hour! Enjoy simple elegance with your dinner reception in the Grand Overlook ballroom. This unique ballroom featuring Brazilian cherry wood floors, barrel vaulted ceiling, and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the magnificently illuminated Quarry Garden. The combination of these venues is as versatile as they are breathtaking. As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complementary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $500 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.
