By the time the garden opened to the public on Mother's Day 1967, it had grown to include more than 500 rose bushes across two acres. Today the property is a City of Charlotte municipal park, and Rosie's Coffee & Wine — operating from the on-site brick building since 2019 — manages event bookings and offers a café and wine bar experience within the garden setting.
