Anne Springs Close Greenway is a 2,100-acre nature reserve in Fort Mill, South Carolina, just minutes south of Charlotte — more than double the size of Central Park. The preserve's lakes, hardwood forests, and 40-mile trail network carry historical ties to the Catawba Nation and the Revolutionary and Civil War, and the land has been permanently preserved for public use as the vision of its namesake, Anne Springs Close. Within the Greenway, eight distinct venues and outdoor spaces are available for weddings, receptions, birthdays, corporate events, and meetings, ranging from the historic Founders Dairy Barn, built in 1947, to the rustic Bob Reid Field Trial Barn with its fire pit and market lights, to the tree-lined Comporium Amphitheater and open-air lawns overlooking Patterson Pond and the Greenway's rolling hills. The Oaks Events is a private lakeside venue set on 100 acres of farmland in Midland, North Carolina, located just outside Charlotte. The property centers on a four-acre lake surrounded by mature oak tree canopies and open landscaped grounds, offering a setting that works equally well for rustic-chic celebrations and more formal affairs. The Gazebo Ceremony Area sits directly on the lake, featuring high natural wood ceilings and scenic water views — with seating for more than 300 guests. For receptions, the 4,000-square-foot Pavilion is a fully enclosed, climate-controlled space with a chandelier over the dance floor, café lighting throughout, and a front patio with a firepit overlooking the lake. A dedicated catering prep room and restrooms are included within the Pavilion space. The Speedway Club occupies the fifth and sixth floors of Smith Tower at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina, with views across the 1.5-mile superspeedway from nearly every event space. The club positions itself as one of the world's most unique entertainment venues, offering over 13,000 square feet of flexible event space across eight distinct rooms and areas — from the intimate 255-square-foot Chairman's Room with its chef's table to the 6,200-square-foot Ballroom with a permanent dance floor. It took Mark many years to transform this beloved property into these lovely meadows and the enchanted bamboo forest. It was twilight in the summer when Mark's wife Deborah and her husband first visited the property. To get to the pasture, they had to ascend through a bamboo forest (where the barn is now). She turned to her husband and said, "This place is magical," as the horses approached them. This land was created to be enjoyed and shared by all. In order for this location to live on as a part of Mark's heritage, Deborah created it.

Pine Lake Country Club is a full-service private club established in 1952 on 157 acres in the Mint Hill area of Charlotte, North Carolina. Originally founded as Columbia Country Club, it adopted its current name in 1960 and has grown from a nine-hole layout into a comprehensive recreational and social community. The club's 18-hole championship course — recently redesigned by architect Jeff Lawrence and Aspen Golf — anchors the property. Complementing the golf are six LED-lighted Har-Tru clay courts, a Master Series hard court, four pickleball courts, and a Junior Olympic-size pool complex with a Z-shaped design, 11-foot water slide, and children's wading area.
