Celebrate your milestone event at a spectacular location. The Gorrono Ranch accentuates the Western aesthetic with its mountainside location. On any of the ranch's numerous outdoor decks, take in breathtaking views of Mt. Wilson throughout the ceremony or cocktail hour. Two smaller historic cottages are available for late-night relaxation and scotch and bourbon tastings in addition to the main lodge. There are two sizable dining rooms, warm stone fireplaces, and lots of space for your band or DJ plus a dance floor within the main lodge. Up to 200 people can be accommodated in a group at this location. At Gorrono Ranch, our Executive Chef will be happy to create a special menu exclusively for you. He can meet almost any menu demands. We take pride in using organic and local ingredients whenever possible and providing only the best meats, seafood, and produce. Ah Haa School for the Arts is a creative arts school and community hub located in the heart of Telluride, Colorado, with more than 30 years of history serving the region. Situated at 155 West Pacific Avenue, the school offers classes and workshops in ceramics, painting, drawing, textile arts, jewelry, culinary arts, and bookbinding for participants of all ages and skill levels. For private events, Ah Haa offers the Launchpad and Sky Deck — a combined indoor-outdoor rental experience in a modern building steps from Telluride's historic Main Street. The Launchpad is a 760-square-foot interior space featuring high ceilings, a wall of south-facing windows, a bar sink, powder room, and full AV capabilities including an 85-inch TV and high-speed internet. The adjacent Sky Deck adds 1,150 square feet of partially covered outdoor space with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and town. Schmid Family Ranch is a centennial working ranch on Wilson Mesa, approximately ten miles west of Telluride, Colorado. Homesteaded in 1882, the nearly 900-acre property sits at 9,684 feet elevation with 360-degree views of the San Juan Mountains, including the 14,000-foot Wilson Peak. A conservation easement held by the San Miguel Conservation Foundation ensures the land remains undeveloped, giving events here an irreplaceable sense of open space and mountain solitude.
