Alta Peruvian Lodge is a rustic mountain lodge in Little Cottonwood Canyon, Utah, set at over 11,000 feet with Mount Superior rising directly behind the property. The lodge opens its grounds for wedding ceremonies and receptions each year from June through September, giving couples an alpine backdrop of snow-capped peaks and pine forest for their celebration. Couples have full access to the outdoor lawn for ceremonies, the dining room for a seated dinner, and the Alf Engen Room for dancing, complete with a dance floor and room for a live band. The lodge also provides chairs and tables, day-use suites for wedding-day prep, audio and visual equipment, and public restrooms, along with assistance planning the setup. The venue gives couples unusual flexibility for a mountain property: they may bring in their own caterer, who is given use of the kitchen for food staging and prep, and may bring their own alcohol, provided a licensed bartender serves it as required under Utah law. Alpine Art Center opened in August 1998 with an art show during Alpine Days, originally built to house classrooms, an art gallery, and event space. The Garden Center at Sugarhouse Park is an event building in Salt Lake City's Sugarhouse Park, offering roughly 3,300 square feet of indoor space for private events. The building seats up to 200 guests at dinner tables, with 10 round tables and 12 rectangular tables filling a dining and dancing area warmed by two gas fireplaces. A lobby with two projection screens rounds out the interior, while a patio and garden extend the setting outdoors — the south garden is available for event photography. A working kitchen with two conventional ovens, a stove, microwaves, and an electric food warmer supports events that arrive with food pre-cooked. Rentals run from 8 am through 2 am the following day, giving guests a full day to set up, celebrate, and clean up before handing the building back.
