In 1997, when the Duxbury Bay Management Society was established, the 2.5-acre parcel was the only remaining waterfront property in Duxbury that allowed for easy access to the Bay. The DBMS campus was acquired and named in honor of William P. Ellison as a result of the generosity of the Ellison Foundation and many others. When the DBMS replaced its aging and dilapidated bulkheads and built a new boat basin and launching ramp along the southern edge of the campus in 2000, the campus was transformed. The school also acquired the properties on either side of the access road from Washington Street, which were previously owned by the school. When two old structures were demolished in July 2003, a new residential building was completed, and a state-of-the-art storm water management system was built, the campus was significantly improved. In 2006, DBMS launched a $5 million fundraising campaign to complete the school's master plan, which included the construction of safe and adequate facilities. After a lengthy fundraising campaign, construction was completed in time for the summer 2009 classes to begin on time. We were able to realize our vision of a modern, energy-efficient building that would house accessible classrooms, an erg room, Clifford Hall, administrative and commercial offices, locker room facilities, and a large garage thanks to the efforts of many volunteers, staff, and Board members. The Duxbury Bay Maritime School is tucked away in the heart of historic Duxbury and its charming bayside setting, making it one of the most popular venues on the South Shore. Loon Pond Lodge occupies the historic Ted Williams Camp in Lakeville, Massachusetts, on the wooded shores of Loon Pond. Owned by the Town of Lakeville and operated through the Lakeville Park Commission, the lodge carries a storied connection to the legendary baseball player who made this waterfront his personal retreat. Inside, the main dining room features exposed-beam cathedral ceilings strung with warm white lights and looks directly out over the water. Mary Cunningham bought the house in 1979 and began providing soup, sandwiches, pastries, and tea to visitors to her antique shop with the help of her sister, Barbara, and her small daughter, Abbey. The Tea Room opened in 1981, and the Crane Brook Restaurant grew into one of the best restaurants in the country. Don McKeag reopened Crane Brook Restaurant in 2004, aiming to build on the restaurant's prior success and create an exciting future for the stunning structure. Antonio Sousa and Maria Marcalo bought the Crane Brook Restaurant in November of 2018, with the intention of restoring it to its former splendor. They began renovations on the outside and inside, and on a daily basis, local folks would stop and ask when Crane Brook will reopen, as well as share their particular memories of Crane Brook. The historically significant Vanderhoop Homestead, which dates back to as early as 1850 and can be seen inside the Aquinnah Circle, is also the location of the Aquinnah Cultural Center. The grounds and the stone terrace are accessible for use for events, however the Cultural Center and the building themselves are not. The Cultural Center and its grounds, like the Lighthouse, look out over the stunning clay cliffs and are conveniently located within walking distance of a number of restaurants, stores, and Moshup Beach (public beach). Scott has been a chef for the last 18 years and has worked at various restaurants in New York City that have earned a Michelin star. Some of these places include Jean-Georges flagship restaurant on Columbus circle and Charlie Palmer's Aureole. His most recent position was as executive chef at Sutton Inn, where he was awarded two Michelin recommendations, a four-star rating from the Daily News, and was named one of Manhattan's top 10 American restaurants by OpenTable for five years in a row. In 1971, we constructed the first version of this home on property that belonged to the family... I have been a permanent resident of this area ever since that time. In 1989, we completely refurbished the home and expanded on to it in order to turn it into a seven-room inn that is light, clean, and spacious. The structure has always had an expansive covered wrap-around porch on the east and north sides. This porch, combined with the other common spaces and lawns, provides sufficient room for visitors to enjoy an evening of unhurried activity. As a result of our location at the very western tip of the island, we are privy to some of the most breathtaking scenery, panoramas, beach breezes, and sunsets in all of Martha's Vineyard.

Terrydiddle Farm is a small working equestrian farm set on 8 acres of New England farm country in Rehoboth, Massachusetts. Owned and managed by Dave and Lissa Trott for over 30 years, the property has hosted weddings and private events for more than a decade. The farm takes its name from a historic hill discovered behind the barn in the early 1800s. The grounds offer three outdoor ceremony locations, a reception tent, and a barn for indoor gatherings, with space for up to 150 guests. A private bridal suite is available for preparation before the ceremony. The farm's resident horses — including Bella, Penny, and mini horses Veronica and Hannah — are a beloved part of the experience and available for guest photos. Events run Friday through Sunday, with one event hosted per day. Outside vendors are welcome with proof of insurance, and the farm provides a curated list of preferred caterers, photographers, and entertainment vendors. The land and structures at 35 Panhandle Road in West Tisbury are steeped in history, and this is evident throughout the property. It was formerly owned by Edwin Newhall "Bob" Woods (the great-grandson of founding father and first Secretary of the Society, Henry L. Whiting), and it now contains the "new" Agricultural Hall, two animal barns, an outdoor riding ring, and outbuildings. The Agricultural Hall was built on 20+ acres at the intersection of State and Panhandle Roads. Surrounded by open space with old growth trees dispersed throughout and backed on one side by a big hayfield, the location emanates peace and beauty typical of rural settings. A wooden barn formerly located in rural New Hampshire was meticulously demolished board by board, numbered labeled, packed, and packaged before being transported to the island by 42 volunteer 'Barnbusters' in the spring of 1994. In November of that year, hundreds of people from all around the island came together in a confluence of generosity to assist in the raising, sheathing, shingling, and painting of the 'new' Hall. Adding a front hall and verandah in the style and spirit of the 'old' Ag Hall, which is now known as the Grange Hall, on State Road, was a priority. It is possible to rent out the land for a limited number of events such as weddings and funerals, as well as religious, non-profit, educational, and governmental functions, as well as agricultural and allied operations.
