Mila [mee:lah], short for Milagros, meaning “miracles” in Spanish, represents a love story—one of love for each other, family, and a deep passion for hospitality. Mila’s owners, Jay and Liz Curcio, crossed paths over a decade ago through a client of The White Apron. Jay founded The White Apron in 2004, starting from his own kitchen. By 2011, the company had grown to cater weddings across the NH seacoast. Liz, an event planner and trained chef, was living in NYC and helping her best friend plan her wedding in NH, which just so happened to be catered by The White Apron. When Liz and Jay met, sparks flew, and they soon teamed up to grow The White Apron into a premier off-premise catering business, serving events across Maine, Northern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and the Lakes Region. Through ingenuity and the dedication of their talented staff, The White Apron not only weathered the pandemic but has continued to elevate its food and service as its clientele expands. While the off-premise business flourished, Jay and Liz shared the dream of opening a venue where they could create exceptional experiences for their clients year-round, without the constraints of an off-site kitchen. The Wentworth Inn has stood in Jackson Village, New Hampshire since 1869, when it began as a casino hall and billiards parlor before evolving into the romantic country inn it is today. Situated in the White Mountains, the property reflects a European and turn-of-the-century New England innkeeping tradition — with historical books, documents, and memorabilia woven throughout its 61 rooms, cottages, and suites. For weddings and private celebrations, The Wentworth hosts one event per day, giving couples exclusive use of the full property. Outdoor ceremonies take shape at the Wentworth Gazebo — set at the foot of Jackson Falls and configured for up to 200 seated guests — as well as at the River Front Lawn and Alpine Terrace, both framed by panoramic White Mountain scenery. Receptions flow into the White Mountain Pavilion, a permanent outdoor structure with a raised platform, dance floor, and bandstand for up to 200 guests from May through early November, or the South Dining Room for more intimate gatherings of up to 80 during the winter months. Timber Hill Farm is a family-operated farm-to-table wedding and event venue in Gilford, New Hampshire, in the heart of the Lakes Region. The farm has been in agricultural production for nearly 250 years, with the Howe family stewarding the land for two generations. Andy Howe established the Beans & Greens Farm Stand on the property in 1989, and in 2015, his son Isaac and wife Jennifer launched the farm's weddings and events program centered around the newly completed Howe Barn. The Howe Barn is a timber-framed structure built from white pine harvested and milled on-site, featuring an open-concept hammer-beam design with no interior posts. It accommodates up to 180 guests and opens to panoramic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and New Hampshire's Presidential Range. The venue hosts one event per week, ensuring each gathering has dedicated access to the property for setup, the event, and breakdown. Farm-to-table catering draws on seasonal meat and produce grown on-site through Forsyth Family Farm. A curated collection of rustic décor — The Wedding Pantry — is available for couples to borrow. The Marlborough House is a historic Edwardian compound in Marlborough, New Hampshire, originally established as Sacred Heart Catholic Church parish in 1896. Perched atop a hill in the town center, the property encompasses a former church now known as the Main Hall, an adjacent rectory serving as the Main House, a cottage, and manicured lawns and surrounding gardens — what the venue describes as a "post card perfect New England tableau." The Main Hall, the heart of the property, accommodates up to 100 guests for ceremonies and celebrations within its original church architecture. St. Andrew's-by-the-Sea is a historic stone chapel on the New Hampshire Seacoast that has welcomed worshippers and celebrants since its first service on August 4, 1876. Designed by Walter T. Winslow and George H. Wetherell, the chapel is a distinguished example of rural stone architecture influenced by English parish church design, featuring a distinctive interior where wooden trusses arranged like an inverted boat support a heavy slate roof. The chapel houses an extraordinary collection of stained glass, including two Tiffany windows, a window by John LaFarge, and three windows originally displayed at the 1876 Philadelphia Exposition. In 2002, the chapel was designated to the National Register of Historic Places; its slate roof was fully restored in 2019 with support from a state historic preservation grant. Weddings and ceremonies are held from mid-May through mid-October, welcoming up to 150 guests. Episcopal priests and clergy from other Christian denominations may officiate, and the venue is open to couples of all backgrounds. The chapel's events team recommends booking well in advance to secure a date.
