Greate Bay Country Club is a private championship golf club and event venue in Somers Point, New Jersey, situated at the Jersey Shore just minutes from Ocean City. Founded in 1923, the club's course was originally designed by British Open winner Willie Park Jr. and reconfigured in 1972 by course architect Tom Fazio. The club hosts weddings, receptions, and private celebrations across several distinct spaces. The Greate Room is a ballroom-style reception hall seating up to 300 guests, with a customizable dance floor and sweeping views of the golf course, a wedding garden with pond and fountain, and the bay. An outdoor tented space accommodates up to 250 guests with the same panoramic course and bay outlook. The University and Whist Club traces its roots to two distinct Wilmington institutions: the Wilmington Whist Club, founded in 1891, and the University Club of Wilmington, incorporated in 1924. The two organizations formally merged in 1958, and today the club operates from its historic building at 805 North Broom Street — a space that has served Wilmington's social life for decades. The Tilton Mansion anchors the club's event offerings, providing historical elegance for weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, corporate functions, and private celebrations. The mansion accommodates up to 130 guests for seated receptions and up to 180 for cocktail-style events. Six private dining rooms are also available for smaller, more intimate gatherings. Ferncroft Country Club occupies 287 acres of gently rolling land in Middleton, Massachusetts, 16 miles north of downtown Boston. Founded in 1969 around an 18-hole championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the club opens its clubhouse to non-members for private celebrations, offering four configurable event spaces complemented by in-house culinary service. The Jones Room accommodates up to 100 guests in a naturally lit space with wall-to-wall windows, an oak fireplace, and a large attached outdoor deck overlooking the course — well suited to seated dinners, cocktail receptions, and corporate meetings alike. The Robert Scott Room is the club's main ballroom, handling up to 300 guests for a reception and available as one expansive hall or divided into two smaller rooms for more intimate gatherings. Both spaces include built-in speaker systems, wireless microphones, and display screens. The club hosts only one wedding per evening, with a dedicated on-site events coordinator overseeing each event from planning through the final course.

IN THE KITCHEN WITH THE ARTIST In his previous position with ZaZa Hospitality, Dan Landsberg oversaw the culinary efforts at Dragonfly and later assisted in concepting and directing operations across the entire brand. He joins HALL Arts Hotel after an 11-year tenure with the company. Working with a variety of well-established restaurants, chefs, and brands, including Stephan Pyles Restaurant, Wynwood Hospitality, Tillman's Roadhouse, and the Lange Twins Family Winery and Vineyard, has been a highlight of his professional life. With great excitement, he has accepted his position as Executive Chef of Ellie's at the HALL Arts Hotel. He is looking forward to making his mark with a new menu of flavorful dishes made with seasonal and local ingredients.
