Located in the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s storied Lower East Side, Dirty French is an energetic bistro created by the acclaimed hospitality brand Major Food Group and its co-founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi. Dirty French's Main Dining Room can accommodate large parties of up to 24 guests non-privately or it can be booked privately for up to 90 guests seated or 150 guests for a reception-style event. Dirty French's Private Dining Room is located on the 2nd Floor of the Ludlow Hotel, through a private entrance. The room has a built-in bar, dedicated restrooms, a private coat check, and large windows overlooking Ludlow Street. It can be booked for up to 50 guests seated or 80 guests for a reception-style event. Dirty French’s Garden is a beautiful courtyard that is located on the ground floor of the Ludlow Hotel. The space features a glass ceiling, exposed brick walls, a picture window looking into the kitchen, and open airflow. It can be booked for up to 24 guests seated.

John Stefanon of JFS Design Studio, a well-known interior designer, designed the interior of HAVA Lounge. HAVA Lounge's design elements were influenced by a significant attention to history and emotion. Originally intended to serve as the theater's ladies lounge and orchestra area, this stunning space required subtle elegance reminiscent of the era. The glamorized cues of HAVA Lounge are visible from the moment you walk in, with its "Victorian Chic" décor. Bold dramatic declarations of shapes and patterns, balanced and juxtaposed in Jing-Jang form, bring a unique vibe to this historic Boston jewel. As you move from the Main Lounge to the Back Lounge, the HAVA Lounge's mood is elevated, and a more surreal style is introduced to what used to be the orchestra pit area. The theme of "moths driven to a flame" called for dim lighting and components that would transport consumers to a pleasant summer night on Shanghai's streets – or to a faraway fantasy locale. Both lounges were designed to generate an exciting sense of motion within time and fantasy. We provide a number of customizable options, including as DJs, catering, video and audio, security, bar and servers (for Age Appropriate Events), and more, to help you create a one-of-a-kind, unforgettable event for up to 380 people.

Completed in 2019, the recent renovations at Webster Hall aimed to preserve the iconic features of the venue, while modernizing it to meet today’s entertainment standards and enhance the guest experience. The Ritz Lounge (formerly The Marlin Room) has been revamped to serve as a bar and meeting spot. Design details of The Lounge include elegant gold stenciling on the walls that pays homage to the original historic design, and fluted glass along the bar that mimics the venue’s former windows. In the Grand Ballroom, the original stage remains, while acoustics were enhanced to create an optimal special event experience. New features include air conditioning, expanded restrooms, additional stairwells for smoother entry and exit, and the venue’s first-ever elevator. The Center for Jewish History in New York City illuminates history, culture, and heritage. The Center provides a collaborative home for five partner organizations: American Jewish Historical Society, American Sephardi Federation, Leo Baeck Institute, Yeshiva University Museum, and YIVO Institute for Jewish Research. The Center for Jewish History is home to the Lillian Goldman Reading Room, Ackman & Ziff Family Genealogy Institute, the David Berg Rare Book Room, and the Collection Management & Conservation Wing. Public programs create opportunities for diverse audiences to explore the rich historical and cultural material that lives within the Center's walls. The Center for Jewish History is conveniently located one block from Union Square. In 1653, Walter Palmer, who lived in the Massachusetts Bay Colony after arriving from England in 1629, established a farm on some 230 acres of his land holdings surrounding Wequetequock Cove. Portions of Palmer’s original tract, including what is now Saltwater Farm Vineyard, continued to be used as farmland into the early decades of the 20th century, known then as the West Farm and owned by Herbert West, who was raised in North Stonington. In the late 1930s, William J. Foster opened a small community airport on the property. Foster built a hangar there, designed by John W. Lincoln, an architect and engineer living in Stonington and a man credited with sharing in the creation of the modern Quonset Hut. Foster Field, also known as Westone Airport, functioned as an airport for several years before the U.S. entry into World War II, when the government closed such airports for public use. In 1945, as the war was ending, Foster leased the property to Henry R. Palmer Jr. of Stonington, who offered commercial air service and flight training there. Palmer opened Aero-Marine Service at Foster Flying Field in February 1946. Palmer’s venture lasted only a couple of years and the hangar was used variously, and haphazardly, through the subsequent decades as warehouse, restaurant, light manufacturing facility and home to squatters.
