Founded in 1965 and funded by community residents rather than local government, it has operated for more than 60 years as an independently run gathering place for Central Florida families, organizations, and businesses. The campus includes three distinct event spaces: the East Wing, suited for banquets and receptions of up to 175 seated guests; the West Wing with Stage, the largest space on the property, accommodating up to 220 seated or 400 standing; and the intimate Rotary Club Room and Bar, ideal for gatherings of up to 32 guests. A lakeside patio overlooking Lake Lily provides a setting for outdoor ceremonies and cocktail receptions. Built in 1958, the Sanford Civic Center is an award-winning mid-century modern event facility situated on the Sanford Riverwalk along the shores of Lake Monroe in Sanford, Florida. The building's auditorium is distinguished by a dramatically arched ceiling constructed of wooden Glu-Lam beams, with fixed glass windows on both sides offering views of Lake Monroe's sunrises and sunsets. The facility has served as a hub for multicultural community activities and a meeting headquarters for civic clubs and organizations throughout the region. The Civic Center accommodates a wide range of private and public events, including weddings, galas, family reunions, meetings, and cultural celebrations. The Ritz Theater at Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center is a historic community theater in downtown Sanford, Florida, operating out of a building originally constructed in 1923 as the Milane Theatre. The venue was renamed the Ritz Theater in 1936 and later renovated and re-dedicated as the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center in 2008 to honor major donors who helped restore it. Significant improvements in 2015 — including a new LED marquee replicating the theater's 1930s look — returned the building's character to Magnolia Avenue. The club hosted 17 PGA and LPGA Tour events over the years, including the Florida Citrus Open from 1966 to 1978 — a tournament that later evolved into the Arnold Palmer Invitational — with past participants including Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, Julius Boros, and Hale Irwin. You may enjoy the lovely farmland and celebrate your special day right in the middle of Orlando thanks to the black barn's secluded location, which is protected from prying eyes by a lush mixture of vegetation that keeps it hidden from the neighboring neighbors.
