The Peña-Peck House is one of St. Augustine's oldest colonial buildings, a coquina structure built around 1750 by royal decree for Spanish Royal Treasurer Juan Estevan de Peña. As one of only 35 remaining First Spanish Period buildings in St. Augustine — and the only residence constructed by order of a King of Spain, Ferdinand VI — the property carries nearly three centuries of history through Spanish, British, and American periods. Operated since 1932 by the Woman's Exchange of St. Augustine, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the house functions today as a living history museum, gift shop, and event venue. The historic garden in the heart of downtown St. Augustine is the centerpiece for private events, sheltered by stately oaks and magnolia trees that form a natural canopy. Joe King, who had recently left a career in the film industry, established Aragon Ranch approximately half a century ago. Joe was a popular choice for roles as a commentator in movies, commercials, and news broadcasts; he had even been nominated for an Academy Award. His nickname was "The Voice." After many years of keeping a busy schedule and commuting from New York to Miami, he and his wife Doris were looking for a peaceful getaway retreat they could get away to. Because Joe had a passion for horses, he established the Aragon Ranch, where Doris later began cultivating beautiful gardens for the family to enjoy. She planted dozens upon dozens of camellias and azaleas in the garden. In point of fact, she has all of her grandchildren represented by their very own individual camellia bushes. Their son Malcolm took over the garden design and began working alongside Doris to sell tropical plants all over the country after taking over the business from his parents. This resulted in the development of one-of-a-kind landscape design areas, which in turn continued to contribute to the beauty of the gardens. After some time had passed, Leah, daughter of Malcolm, and Joe, daughter of Leah's husband, opened up the stunning gardens, which had been meticulously maintained, as a one-of-a-kind wedding venue for engaged couples who were looking for an elegant garden setting for their special day. Even the name of the community, Harmony Gardens, is a nod to Doris Harmony King's enduring contributions.

Atlantic Center for the Arts is a non-profit multidisciplinary artist residency and cultural venue set on 69 acres at the edge of Turnbull Bay in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Founded in 1977 by sculptor and environmentalist Doris Leeper, the campus has grown into a gathering place for artists, organizations, and community groups drawn to its combination of purpose-built creative spaces and natural surroundings. Long before our youngest daughter was old enough to marry, she tore a picture of a barn reception out of a magazine and told us, "this is exactly what I envision my wedding will look like!" She was referring to the wedding that she would one day have. As time passed, she would remark things like, "I'm beginning to believe that I'd rather just get married at home." Finally, after all those years had passed, she became engaged, and we started looking for the ideal location for the wedding. Weddings and receptions with a barn theme were just starting to catch on in popularity in the northern states, but not so much in our region. She had started a blog in her search for the ideal location for a barn wedding, and it had gained a significant number of readers. Following a two-year search in the surrounding area with no success in locating a location that was either an exact match or even close, my husband and I made the decision to construct a barn on the land that we own as a family, with the intention of hosting our daughter's wedding there and then building a boat barn after that. We had no notion what was going to happen to us in the future. We had no idea that our ideas mirrored those of other engaged couples perfectly, but it turned out that was the case. We started our company in 2013 with her ideas and our enthusiasm for designing, entertaining, and hosting events as our driving forces. A lot of time and care went into the design of this rustic wedding location, which Jessica and Kyle Mariacher created for their own wedding and were the first to wed there. The 6,000 square feet of space has an open plan and offers fantastic views of the surrounding property and huge oak trees from the windows, bar, and patio area. The Mulberry was designed with a variety of events in mind and has a traditional Florida barn wedding location with a modern touch. The Mulberry expertly fuses southern beauty with rustic characteristics. Trees that fell on the property during Hurricane Matthew were used to make the two 23-foot live edge wood bars. The large rustic barn doors were constructed in the 1850s in Indiana using genuine wood from a former apple orchard barn. On the site, there is also a lovely farmhouse that formerly belonged to a thriving farm. The home has been upgraded with modern furniture and appliances while maintaining a slight French country aesthetic.

Crosswater Hall is a two-story event venue in Ponte Vedra, Florida, styled in Florida classical architecture that draws on Northeast Florida's rich architectural heritage. Opened in 2010 and situated adjacent to the Nocatee Splash Water Park, the award-winning facility has hosted hundreds of weddings, receptions, and private events over the years. The main gathering space, the Nocatee Room, accommodates up to 180 seated guests and features a fireplace, vaulted wood-beam ceiling, and French doors that open onto a plantation-style balcony. DeBary Hall Historic Site is a 19th-century hunting estate perched on ten acres overlooking the St. Johns River in DeBary, Florida. Built in 1871 by European wine merchant Frederick deBary, the 8,000-square-foot main lodge is recognized as the oldest intact building in southwest Volusia County and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The estate once played host to Presidents Grant and Cleveland, as well as the Astor, Gould, and Vanderbilt families, lending the grounds a distinctive sense of history and grandeur. The site offers a unique backdrop for weddings, receptions, meetings, and family reunions. The restored Stable — a 121-year-old structure updated with hardwood floors, white shiplap walls, air conditioning, and a caterer's kitchen — accommodates up to 100 guests for receptions. Relax with your groomsmen in the game room, which features a billiard table, two televisions measuring 58 inches each, a sitting and bar area, and an outdoor putting green. Prepare for the day in the spacious dressing room that is attached and features a private bathroom. Our breathtaking outdoor ceremony location is tucked away beneath an oak tree that is well over a hundred years old. This tree provides a canopy of shade for your guests and a picture-perfect setting for your photographs. As you make your grand entrance through the vintage double doors onto the paved ceremony site, which features a platform so that all of your guests will have a wonderful view of you tying the knot, the ceremony site will be ready for you to begin. There is room for up to 150 guests in the area designated for the ceremony, and white garden chairs are provided. A nearby pergola is available for use for serving drinks prior to the ceremony as well as for hosting live music during the event. Guests have the option of partaking in outdoor activities such as drinking a beverage or playing a game while the bride and groom are off taking photographs at one of the many picturesque locations located on the premises. The cocktail area is covered and features a total of six high-top tables in addition to expansive paved areas that are surrounded by trees. In addition, guests are welcome to explore the grounds and take their own one-of-a-kind photographs. We have over two dozen cows, incredible landscaping, an original schoolhouse built in the 1900s, and a blueberry farm coming in 2022.

Built in 1958, the Sanford Civic Center is an award-winning mid-century modern event facility situated on the Sanford Riverwalk along the shores of Lake Monroe in Sanford, Florida. The building's auditorium is distinguished by a dramatically arched ceiling constructed of wooden Glu-Lam beams, with fixed glass windows on both sides offering views of Lake Monroe's sunrises and sunsets.
