The Wheeler House is a historic wedding venue set on a restored 1906 property in Ball Ground, Georgia. The original home — built by a local lumber yard owner using heart pine flooring and wraparound porches — was purchased and fully renovated before reopening as a wedding venue in 2011. A climate-controlled barn was added in 2012, its exterior clad in reclaimed lumber salvaged from the old Panama City pier and airport runway, giving the space a distinctly storied character. The venue accommodates events from intimate micro-weddings to celebrations of up to 300 guests. The 3,600-square-foot barn serves as the primary ceremony or reception space, while a draped outdoor arbor hung with chandeliers and string lights offers an open-air ceremony option. The historic house provides a bridal suite with an original claw-foot tub, a groom's suite, and a billiards room. Onsite cottage accommodations are available for overnight guests. Venue in the Vines at Engelheim Vineyards is a destination event venue set on 15 acres of working vineyard in Ellijay, Georgia, perched within the Blue Ridge Mountains roughly 90 miles north of Atlanta. The property combines the character of an operating winery with a purpose-built, 7,000-square-foot event facility designed for weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, and milestone celebrations. The main Grand Room accommodates up to 200 guests and features a full bar, professional audio system, and panoramic mountain views visible from every window. The Crescent Farm Historical Center, often known as the Rock Barn, is a beloved Cherokee County landmark built by Augustus Lee Coggins in 1906. When the barn was being restored, the goal was to make this historic area available to the public. This rural site offers weddings and gatherings all year. The outside is the same as it was when it was first erected in 1906, with unusual stone walls made from Etowah River rocks. The attractive interior has been tastefully refurbished to make it suited for parties while maintaining the stable's historic integrity. This stunning room will create a sophisticated background for your ceremony and reception, with exposed stone walls, polished concrete floors, and gorgeous wood accents. While the structure itself can comfortably seat 120 people, tents can be placed up on the lawn to expand the space. West Milford Farm is a multi-award-winning event venue conveniently located in East Cherokee County, just north of Milton. Forrest Hills Mountain Resort is a family-owned destination resort set on 140 acres of North Georgia forestland near Dahlonega, a historic gold rush town at the edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Founded in 1977 and built from the ground up by siblings David and Denise Kraft, the resort has grown into a full-service event destination hosting more than 125 weddings annually alongside corporate retreats, family reunions, and group gatherings.
