The Pavilion at Theatre in the Park is an open-air event venue set within Shawnee Mission Park in Shawnee, Kansas, adjacent to the largest outdoor community theater in the country. Completed in the summer of 2010, the pavilion was built for gatherings of all kinds — from intimate family celebrations to larger corporate events and weddings. Set on 10 wooded acres in the Fine Creek Mills Historic District of Powhatan, Virginia, The Mill at Fine Creek centers on the ruins of a historic gristmill and the old miller's cottage along Fine Creek. Chandler Park is a 192-acre county park on Tulsa's west side, set among wooded hills with panoramic views of downtown Tulsa and Sand Springs. Donated by Claude Chandler in 1958 and established as the county's second park in 1961, it began as a picnic area before growing to include a community center, hiking trails, and disc golf courses carved into its rock-formation terrain.
