Grassy Hill Country Club is a public championship golf and event facility set in the rolling hills of southern Connecticut. The clubhouse hosts weddings and private events for groups ranging from intimate gatherings to receptions of up to 375 guests, with a portfolio of flexible banquet spaces that can be configured separately or combined. The Main Ballroom features a coffered ceiling accented by crown molding and brass chandeliers, and opens to a formal foyer finished with stately columns, crystal chandeliers, and Italian marble flooring. Two additional rooms — The Twilight Room, overlooking the 9th green, and The Sunset Horizon Room, with views of the Rock Patio — seat up to 150 and 200 guests respectively. The Belvedere Estate, situated on more than 25 acres in Westchester County, is a one-of-a-kind property. The estate consists of a large house and many smaller structures scattered over the grounds, all of which include excellent historical elements from the 1920s. A wooded region and cliff with views of the broad Hudson River and the Tappan Zee Bridge provide a range of lovely and peaceful vistas. The Belvedere was once part of Philipsburg Manor, a 90,000-acre property and one of America's richest landholdings, and was built in the 1910s. Dr. Philip Gillette Cole bought it in 1928 and renamed it Zeeview. It was built by Florence and Casper Whitney and purchased by Dr. Philip Gillette Cole in 1928. The home at Zeeview looked out over the huge Hudson River and the "Tappan Zee" with ease. The Coles erected the Agora House and the Studio on the land and displayed their significant collection of American Western art, which was ultimately moved to the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The estate was purchased by Samuel Bronfman of the Seagrams Whiskey dynasty after Cole's death. After the Bronfmans' primary mansion in Toronto, the property was christened Belvedere. Belvedere became the headquarters of the Family Federation for World Peace and Unification in 1972. Three Saints Park is a 25-acre private park set in Bethany, Connecticut — a small, rural town that has kept its New England character. This number will increase to 75 people as of January 2022. - All events are to be outside events only (ceremonies, receptions, etc.). - Indoor use of Bailey House is restricted to restroom access only and will not have access to the rest of the building. - The historic Bailey House will be undergoing major construction during the winter season of 2021-2022. As the building is owned by Nassau County, we cannot guarantee that the building will be functional come spring of 2022.
