Opened in 1913, the Omni Severin Hotel is the oldest and longest continuously operating hotel in downtown Indianapolis. Built by Henry Severin Jr. with backing from Indianapolis Motor Speedway founders Carl G. Fisher and James A. Allison, the property was designed by the local firm Vonnegut & Bohn in a Beaux-Arts style and stands directly across from historic Union Station. A member of Historic Hotels of America, the hotel has preserved its original Austrian crystal chandelier, grand marble staircase, and period architectural details through multiple renovations — most recently a 2024 refresh of its guest rooms and lobby. The hotel offers 17,000 square feet of event space across 17 function rooms, including the Jennings Ballroom, the hotel's largest at 3,036 square feet, and the Severin Ballroom, which features three crystal chandeliers, soaring arched ceilings, and large windows. The Severin Lobby — anchored by the original 1913 Austrian chandelier and a sweeping marble staircase beneath 22-foot ceilings — serves as a distinctive setting for ceremonies and receptions on its own or combined with the adjacent ballroom. The hotel connects to the Indianapolis Convention Center via skywalk and accommodates events for up to 316 guests with in-house catering.
Soldiers & Sailors Monument
1 Monument Cir, Indianapolis, IN 46204, USA- Spaces for 500 Guests
The Indiana Soldiers & Sailors Monument stands at the center of Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis, serving as Indiana's official memorial to the Hoosiers who served in the Revolutionary War, the War of 1812, the Mexican War, the Civil War, the Frontier Wars, and the Spanish-American War. Recognized as one of the world's outstanding monuments, the limestone structure rises 284 feet and 6 inches — only 15 feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty — and has come to symbolize both the city and the state. Designed by Bruno Schmitz of Berlin and completed in 1902, the monument is crafted from gray oolitic limestone quarried in Owen County, Indiana. Its grounds feature an array of sculptural works, including the four corner statues representing the Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, and Navy, and the crowning figure of Victory holding a sword and torch aloft. The monument's north and south steps and landings are available for private ceremonies and events, managed through the Indiana War Memorials Commission. The monument also houses a Gift Shop and an Observatory at 231 feet above street level, offering panoramic views of the Indianapolis skyline. Reservations for events are coordinated through the IWM Events Coordinator.

HollyHock Hill Restaurant
8110 N College Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46240, USA- Spaces for 150 Guests
Hollyhock Hill has been a cornerstone of Indianapolis dining since 1928, when V.D. Vincent and his wife began serving dinners at their country cottage in Northern Marion County — naming the restaurant after the hollyhocks that bloomed on the grounds. What started as an intimate 30-seat operation has grown steadily through multiple generations of ownership into a 150-seat landmark that remains one of a very few family-style restaurants still in operation in the United States. The restaurant is known for its classic Indiana fried chicken and home-style cuisine, served in the tradition of the original recipes and techniques that have defined it for nearly a century. Guests travel from all 50 states and internationally to dine here, drawn by the county-style cooking and the warmth of the setting. Private dining is available for groups of 20 or more, with flexible menu options for seated celebrations, corporate lunches, and family gatherings. The kitchen accommodates group minimums and custom entrée selections to suit the occasion.
