Alder Manor is a 72-room Renaissance Revival mansion in Yonkers, New York, designed in 1912 by the architecture firm Carrère and Hastings for mining magnate William Boyce Thompson. Named for Thompson's Montana hometown of Alder Gulch, the estate sits on more than six acres of classically inspired gardens filled with authentic Roman artifacts imported from Italy in the early twentieth century. The interior is defined by a succession of original architectural features: marble floors, walnut and oak paneling, a rare English-style trompe-l'oeil ceiling, a 15th-century Italian stone fireplace, an actual 16th-century Italian church façade incorporated into the structure, a three-story staircase, and an indoor tiled pool topped by a stained glass window. Many of the 72 rooms retain original Renaissance paintings and historic artifacts. The grounds command views of the Hudson River and the Palisades. Alder Manor is available for film, photo, and commercial shoots, with convenings, retreats, private events, and weddings anticipated in 2026.

It is a rare surviving example of the numerous social halls constructed in the nineteenth century for the immigrant and ethnic communities of New York City. Over the course of more than a century, the Bohemian National Hall (Czech National Hall, also known as the Czech National Hall) has served as an important center for Czech and Slovak culture in New York City. For more than a decade, it has served as a focal point for its community, providing ethnic food, Czech language and history classes, and space for its large community to gather and hold various events. Robert, her son, was a college student when he launched his first restaurant in the early 1990s, when he was still in college. With the assistance of his mother, he was able to properly administer the establishment. She was the one who came up with all of the original recipes that are still in use today. "She had such a commanding presence and always ensured that the staff was preparing everything with the freshest, most genuine ingredients possible," her son, Robert, said of his mother. Despite the fact that Dina passed away lately, her spirit lives on via Arte Cafe and the meals that are served today. Tony's Di Napoli has been one of New York City's original family-style Italian restaurants since its founding in 1990 by Herb Wetanson and his son Greg. Party packages are available for groups of 15 or more, with custom family-style menus tailored to fit the occasion and the budget.
