Operated by the Indian Hills Improvement Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, the building sits at 5,381 feet in the foothills southwest of Denver and has served the community for decades. The main hall accommodates up to 115 guests with seating — furnished with padded chairs, rectangular and round tables — and opens onto a lush lawn surrounded by towering pines, offering additional outdoor space for ceremonies or cocktail hours. Roxborough State Park is a 3,413-acre Colorado state park located approximately 20 minutes southwest of Denver, set against one of Colorado's most dramatic natural backdrops: the Fountain Formation, a series of tilted red sandstone spires that originated more than 300 million years ago. Designated a National Natural Landmark in 1980, the park encompasses distinct plant communities and diverse wildlife — from mule deer and black bears to 145 bird species — making it a setting unlike any traditional event venue. For intimate ceremonies and special events, the park offers two outdoor overlooks along the Fountain Valley Trail. The Fountain Valley Overlook, a short walk from the Visitor Center, features a cleared area framed by the park's iconic red rock formations and accommodates up to 25 guests.
