Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook is a 58-acre California State Park perched at 420 feet elevation in Culver City, southwest of downtown Los Angeles. From the summit, panoramic views sweep across the Los Angeles Basin, the Pacific Ocean, the Santa Monica and San Gabriel Mountains, and the Palos Verdes Peninsula — a setting that makes it one of the most distinctive event venues in the region. The park's Visitor Center houses a glass-and-concrete pavilion, a native plant garden, a Skyline Terrace, a small theater, and a conference room — collectively accommodating gatherings from intimate meetings to receptions of up to 200 guests. The Pavilion and its adjacent outdoor spaces are available for weddings, corporate retreats, educational events, and cultural celebrations. Rentals include tables, chairs, and on-site parking. All food service must be provided by a licensed caterer, and the facility is fully accessible. Events at Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook are coordinated through the California State Parks special events office.

Town & Gown is a historic ballroom on the University Park Campus of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, established in 1935. Situated at the center of the university's storied campus, the venue blends its nearly century-long heritage with contemporary elegance, making it a distinctive setting for weddings, galas, corporate events, and private celebrations. The main ballroom spans 6,426 square feet with 15-foot ceilings and is illuminated by ten Schonbek crystal chandeliers. It accommodates up to 420 guests for banquet-style dinners and up to 600 for standing receptions. Flexible configurations support everything from intimate seated dinners to large-scale ceremonies and cocktail events. Town & Gown offers comprehensive event services through USC's hospitality team, including full catering and bar service, audiovisual support, florals, cake services, and equipment rentals. On-site parking is available, and the venue is ADA accessible.

Established in 1915 by Italian immigrant, Cesar Menotti, Townhouse is the oldest bar in Venice and one of the oldest bars in the Los Angeles area. Townhouse's live entertainment basement, The Del Monte, was a true speakeasy during Prohibition (1920-1933) and a night-life nucleus, serving many nefarious and infamous characters of the day, masked cleverly by Menotti's grocery store above. Underneath the rows of produce was a trap door and dumbwaiter that could bring down two guests at a time. Alcohol was brought in by boats from Canada and then smuggled via underground tunnels. Once Prohibition ended in 1933, a staircase was added. Today both floors serve hand-crafted cocktails from the golden age of drinking with classic bartending techniques and know-how and offer a fine library of world-class spirits, beer, and wine. The Del Monte features the crème de la crème of live entertainment including live music, djs, comedy and burlesque, five to seven nights per week.

In the context of its Southern California location, e Garden is a hybrid art form that combines traditional elements of Japanese garden design with contemporary elements. They had a shared love of the outdoors, and gardening in particular, drew them together. When it came to self-development, Loraine and Earl recognized the importance of travel, well-being, education, and art as a means of expression. They are reflected in the Garden and in other projects that they have funded, such as the CSULB International House, Miller Children's Hospital, and the ongoing work of The Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation, which they established in memory of their parents. At this time, we are unable to accommodate docent-led tours due to a lack of available space. When planning to visit the Garden during regular hours, groups of 15 or more people must contact the Garden in advance by phone (562) 985-8420 or email (jgcoordinators@csulb.edu), regardless of whether or not a docent-led tour is requested. A minimum of two weeks notice is required, and group visits may be subject to a fee if they are not pre-arranged. The specifics will be worked out between your group coordinator and the Garden's personnel.

The Sepulveda Screening Room is a professional screening facility located at 1640 South Sepulveda Boulevard in West Los Angeles, operated by Screening Services Group under the direction of guild and studio projectionist Michael S. Hall, who brings more than 48 years of industry experience to the facility. The venue is part of a union-affiliated network ranked highest among small screening rooms by Variety magazine. The main theater seats 65 to 71 guests on stadium-style cushioned seats and supports an extensive range of professional formats including Dolby ATMOS, DCP 2D and 3D, 4K Christie DLP, Blu-ray, and HDCAM-SR, with a screen measuring up to 12'6" by 23'9". Additional rentable spaces include an art gallery and a patio available on evenings and weekends. The facility operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, and offers free Wi-Fi and underground parking.
