The Hayloft Theatre is a restored 1902 barn relocated to Portage, Michigan's Celery Flats Historical Area in 1992, where it has served as a performance venue and private event space. Its interior features vaulted wood-beamed ceilings and a 35-by-45-foot floor plan capable of accommodating up to 120 guests at tables or 180 guests for standing receptions. Available for private rentals from May through October, the theatre is well suited for weddings, receptions, and celebrations that call for a historic barn setting. The Celery Flats Historical Area provides a distinctive backdrop, and the building's turn-of-the-century character lends itself to both rustic and elegant event aesthetics. Indoor restroom facilities are available on the lower level.

Scotts Mill County Park spans 110 acres in Scotts, Michigan, and has served Kalamazoo County since 1976, when it opened as the county's Bi-Centennial Project. At the heart of the park stands a historic 1870s water-powered mill and adjacent pond, set within natural landscape that also includes hiking trails, fishing areas, and a playground. For private events, the park offers the Gregersen Picnic Shelter, equipped with a grill, electricity, water, and modern restrooms — a practical setting for family gatherings, company picnics, and school outings. Wedding packages are available for both ceremonies and receptions, with the mill, pond, and surrounding landscape serving as an outdoor backdrop well suited to celebration. Reservations are accepted by phone beginning on the first business day of January each year.

Kalamazoo Country Club is a private club and full-service event venue established in 1909 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Set along Whites Lake, the club has hosted generations of celebrations alongside its championship golf course and manicured grounds. The centerpiece of the event program is the main ballroom, which seats up to 240 guests and draws natural light through large windows overlooking Whites Lake and the fairways. The room divides into four sections — West, Cathedral, Middle, and East — giving planners flexibility to scale the space for intimate gatherings or full-capacity receptions. The Garden Room suits smaller events such as brunches and showers, while the Formal Dining Room offers a quieter setting for corporate meetings and rehearsal dinners.
