The Herreshoff Marine Museum is a premier waterfront location for your next special event, such as a clambake, business meeting, small conference, corporate retreat, holiday party, regatta, wedding, or family reunion. The museum is located on the banks of the Hudson River. In the midst of dozens of exceptional historic Herreshoff boats on an exceptional waterfront property overlooking Bristol Harbor, our facilities provide a beautiful and historic setting for your event. The Museum provides several attractive options for your meeting, social event, or wedding, including the Waterfront, Hall of Boats, Aria Gallery, Conference Room, and the second floor of the historic Burnside Building, among other locations. All year long, the Museum offers a variety of unique indoor and outdoor spaces that can accommodate groups ranging from 25 to 200 people. Industrial heaters are used in the fall and winter to keep your party warm and toasty even in the coldest of temperatures. A special place to infuse your dinner or reception with a unique vibe, the Hall of Boats can be found on the ground floor of the Museum and is fully handicap accessible. It is the heart of the Herreshoff collection and is located on the ground floor of the Museum. Your event will take place among more than a dozen magnificent antique wooden boats, all of which were built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company, in this impressive space. Many of the boats are mounted on wheeled platforms that can be moved to accommodate and customize events of any size or configuration, including weddings. We have the capacity to accommodate 125 people for a seated dinner and 250 people for cocktails. On your request, a projection screen can be made available. Tables and chairs are always included in the rental price.

Couples looking for a unique wedding ceremony and photography location flock to the lighthouse. The first lighthouse built on Martha's Vineyard was the Gay Head Lighthouse. Maritime traffic had expanded to the point where Peleg Coffin of Nantucket addressed his Congressman in 1796, requesting that a light be placed at Gay Head because both islands were heavily involved in the whaling industry. President John Adams signed a contract with Hingham's Martin Lincoln to construct a timber lighthouse with a keeper's cottage and outbuildings. The light was turned on for the first time on November 7, 1799. Paul Revere supplied some copper and tin to supplement the Light's weatherproofing after it was constructed. Martha’s Vineyard’s oldest continuously working family farm, the Allen Farm in Chilmark consists of 100 acres of rolling pastures and meadows bounded by historic stonewalls, upper Chilmark Pond and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Jonathan Allen originally purchased the farm in 1762, and ten years later his oldest son, Tristram, built the timber-framed farmhouse, which still sits just off of South Road in Chilmark. We restored the house in 1998, incorporating grey water and Clivus Multrum composting systems into the ancient fabric of the historic structure. The farmhouse and all its attendant outbuildings are very representative of the heritage of traditional New England farmsteads. In 1975 Clarissa Allen, then in her early twenties, inherited the farm and together with her husband Mitchell Posin, they began the difficult and challenging task of bringing to fruition their vision for a viable and sustainable working farm.

The breathtaking view from the historic Edwin Vanderhoop Homestead property encompasses the whole southwest coast of Martha's Vineyard, including Gay Head Cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean. Both the beach and the Gay Head Lighthouse are within easy walking distance. Ideal for your wedding, rehearsal dinner, or any other event you're planning. The historically significant Vanderhoop Homestead, which dates back to as early as 1850 and can be seen inside the Aquinnah Circle, is also the location of the Aquinnah Cultural Center. The grounds and the stone terrace are accessible for use for events, however the Cultural Center and the building themselves are not. The Cultural Center and its grounds, like the Lighthouse, look out over the stunning clay cliffs and are conveniently located within walking distance of a number of restaurants, stores, and Moshup Beach (public beach). The grounds are large enough to host a tent measuring up to 100 feet by 60 feet. There is access to water, power, and parking at this location. Fuller Craft Museum describes itself as New England's home for contemporary craft, located at 455 Oak Street in Brockton, Massachusetts. The museum sits on 22 acres of woodland on the shores of Upper Porters Pond, and its event spaces look out over the water and an adjacent patio. Three spaces are available for private rental: the Museum Greatroom, the Museum Lounge, and Studio A. The Greatroom — the largest of the three — accommodates up to 135 seated or 175 standing guests beneath high ceilings with exposed wood beams. The Museum Lounge seats up to 35 at tables or about 50 for informal gatherings, with windows that frame views of the pond. Studio A provides a more intimate setting for groups of up to 20 seated. All rentals include tables, chairs, a dedicated staff member, and museum admission for guests. The museum is well suited to business meetings, cocktail parties, graduations, anniversaries, and organizational events, with rentals available Tuesday through Sunday during regular museum hours.

Scott has been a chef for the last 18 years and has worked at various restaurants in New York City that have earned a Michelin star. Some of these places include Jean-Georges flagship restaurant on Columbus circle and Charlie Palmer's Aureole. His most recent position was as executive chef at Sutton Inn, where he was awarded two Michelin recommendations, a four-star rating from the Daily News, and was named one of Manhattan's top 10 American restaurants by OpenTable for five years in a row. In 1971, we constructed the first version of this home on property that belonged to the family... I have been a permanent resident of this area ever since that time. In 1989, we completely refurbished the home and expanded on to it in order to turn it into a seven-room inn that is light, clean, and spacious. The structure has always had an expansive covered wrap-around porch on the east and north sides. This porch, combined with the other common spaces and lawns, provides sufficient room for visitors to enjoy an evening of unhurried activity. As a result of our location at the very western tip of the island, we are privy to some of the most breathtaking scenery, panoramas, beach breezes, and sunsets in all of Martha's Vineyard.

For each family, occasion, wedding, or event, By the Sea Guests has it all. The inn has a bed and breakfast with simple guest rooms with one or two beds, apartment-styled one or two bedroom suites, and vacation houses, all of which are ideal for family reunions, special celebrations, or wedding parties. Our three inns contain a total of 46 rooms, all of which are either next door to one other or one block apart. Two of the inns are directly on the beach. One of the inns allows pets. We're off Chase Avenue in Dennis Port, Massachusetts, on Cape Cod's Mid-Cape. We can offer room blocks, though we prefer that customers book directly with us on a first-come, first-served basis. The major inn, By the Sea Guests, is where most weddings and festivities take place. It is oceanfront, with the strip's largest white sanded beach, and an enclosed veranda that overlooks and connects to the beach, as well as an outdoor grass space where a tent can be set up.

Newport Car Museum occupies an 80,000-square-foot former missile manufacturing facility on seven acres in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where it has displayed a private collection of more than 100 automobiles since opening in 2017. The collection spans eight decades of modern industrial automotive design, from the 1950s to the present, organized into curated galleries for Ford/Shelby cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars, and Mopars. Mid-Century modern furniture is displayed throughout the galleries alongside the cars, extending the museum's design focus beyond the automobiles themselves. For private events, the museum's Wheel Room offers an 1,800-square-foot multipurpose space that accommodates up to 100 guests in conference or social-style configurations, equipped with audio/visual capabilities and set against the backdrop of the museum's automotive and Mid-Century furniture collections. The museum is open daily and offers free parking for more than 300 vehicles.

The Attleboro Area Industrial Museum occupies the historic Attleboro Refining Company building on Union Street, a structure constructed in 1899 that the museum considers its most significant artifact. Founded in 1975 as part of Attleboro's bicentennial celebration, the museum collects and preserves artifacts, photographs, tools, and machinery that trace the region's industrial heritage. The collection spans more than 17,500 items and is organized around a series of immersive exhibits — among them the L.G. Balfour exhibit of championship jewelry, original works by the sculptor of the G.I. Joe figure, a restored pre-Civil War craftsman silversmith workshop, and an 1885 fire engine with period photographs. The museum welcomes groups and provides guided tours for visitors exploring Attleboro's industrial past.

THE ROOM OF THE BLACKSMITH We used to have a blacksmith shop in our private dining room, which was originally part of the working quarry. The forge, which was the hearth of the blacksmith, was where granite cutting tools were created, repaired, and sharpened. The Blacksmith Room is decorated with wrought-iron chandeliers, skylights, and vintage sconces that were imported from Europe. When set up as a king-style table, the room can comfortably accommodate 22 guests, or up to 30 people when set up as 5 tables of 6. The perfect setting for a rehearsal dinner, business presentation, family gathering, or cocktail party. THE ROOM WITH THE STONES There are large dark wood bamboo dividers separating this private function space from the main dining room, creating a spacious event space with stone-walled cathedral ceilings, wall mounted wine racks, and floor to ceiling windows. Tucked away toward the front of the building, The Stone Room is the ideal setting for your special occasion or reception. Can accommodate a 30-person event, complete with buffet and cake serving areas as well as gift-giving areas DESCRIPTION OF THE QUARRY ROOM Our Main Dining Room, which overlooks our granite quarry and patio, provides breathtaking views through a wall of full-height glass windows. Along with cathedral ceilings, rustic exposed wood beams, skylights, and wrought-iron chandeliers, the Quarry Room has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Eight four-person leather booths, as well as flexible table arrangements, can accommodate a total of 55 people. This space, when combined with our Stone Room, can accommodate up to 95 guests.

Ryan opened his first business in Needham, Massachusetts, which was an eight-lane bowling alley located beneath the Post Office. As a result of his efforts, he has opened bowling alleys in the cities of Quincy and Watertown, as well as Avon and Raynham and the towns of Buzzards Bay and South Yarmouth. He has also opened game rooms in the Cape Cod Mall and Emerald Square Mall on Martha's Vineyard as well as Newport, Rhode Island. The Bay Pointe Club, originally known as Wareham Country Club, was established in 1964 and operated until 1988. This was also the year that the Pavilion building was completed, as well as the year that the iconic 7th hole island green was built. At the present time, the Bay Pointe Club offers a unique collection of 18 championship golf holes designed by Geoffrey Cornish, a beautiful banquet facility, and a clubhouse that includes a well-stocked pro shop, a terrace serving area, and a covered, heated outdoor dining area located at the pavilion building. The course, which is rated 70.9 and slopes 122 from the back tees, is designed to be played at a par of 70 for men. The total yardage on the card (6201 from Blue Tees) appears to be quite small, but it turns out to be somewhat longer in practice. It is a par 72, 5,380 yard course that the ladies must contend with while playing from the red tees. The topography is mostly pleasant, with the exception of holes #1 and #2, which present a challenge to golfers who begin their round on the most hilly region of the grounds. The Bay Pointe Club does not use temporary greens under any circumstances. We have a sandy base soil that provides for excellent drainage for off-season golf, making us a perfect winter golf retreat destination. The Bay Pointe Club is only a few minutes away from the picturesque old hamlet of Onset and the sandy sands of Onset Bay, making it an ideal location for a relaxing getaway. An attractive new landscape design softly surrounds our freshly remodeled banquet space, offering the ideal setting for an outstanding wedding reception. Overbrook was originally built in the 1920s in the conventional two-story New England style. It is now a museum and community center. With its uncommon blend of grandeur and simplicity, it is welcoming to groups of all sizes, whether large or little. Each room receives plenty of natural light throughout the day. A clean, uncomplicated design is used to furnish the space, which is filled with antiques. A big kitchen, which many have referred to as "the greatest kitchen I've ever worked in," complements the home's eight bedrooms, five bathrooms, living room with a massive fireplace, library, dining room that seats twenty, and a dining room that seats twenty. It is situated on a hilltop and is both roomy on the outside and inside. A 60-foot swimming pool and a big dancehall with wooden floors are located further down the stone route.
