Founded in 1914, the Lyme Art Association is a nonprofit arts center in Old Lyme, Connecticut, rooted in the legacy of the American Impressionists who gathered in this corner of the state a century ago. The building was designed by architect Charles Adams Platt and opened in 1921 — its classical arched entrance, symmetrical facade, and skylit galleries remain the defining features of the space today. The gallery is available for private rental and accommodates approximately 120 guests across its interconnected exhibition rooms, including the Foyer Gallery, the Foster Caddell and Cooper-Ferry Galleries, the Cole Gallery, and the Goodman Gallery. The setting suits wedding ceremonies, memorial gatherings, fundraisers, corporate meetings, and other special events for groups that value a refined cultural backdrop. Outside caterers are welcome, and the association can provide a list of preferred vendors upon request.

A National Historic Landmark, Marble House was built for Mr. and Mrs. William K. Vanderbilt. It was the most lavish house in America when it opened in 1892. Marble House was the scene of both elaborate balls and rallies to raise funds for the women’s suffrage movement. The Valiant is a 97-foot yacht operated by Charles River Boat Company, a family-run business that has cruised Boston Harbor and the Charles River since 1990. Departing from Rowes Wharf, with alternate dockage available on request, the Valiant carries guests along the water for weddings, cocktail receptions, and celebratory gatherings such as birthdays and reunions. Aboard, a traditional salon area with a full bar connects to a wicker-furnished fantail, while an extended bow offers a spot for photography and harbor views. An upper canopy deck provides additional open-air space for a celebration. The yacht seats 10 to 60 guests for a seated meal and holds up to 120 for a cocktail-style reception. Each charter includes two full-service bars stocked with beer, wine, spirits, and custom glassware, along with top-shelf and custom wine and champagne selections. Clients can add DJs, live music, games, or tour narration, and the crew works with each group to shape the cruise around their event.

Potowomut Golf Club has been a fixture of Rhode Island golf since 1927, when a group of golfers built a private course on rolling terrain near Narragansett Bay, in the Potowomut section of Warwick. The 18-hole, par-71 course was designed by Walter Johnson, a disciple of architect Donald Ross, and has been carefully restored over the decades while staying true to its founding character: small, fast greens and a walking tradition that rewards strategy over length. While membership defines daily play at Potowomut, the club opens its course and clubhouse to non-members for weddings, corporate golf outings, and private celebrations. The Smith Farm property was originally purchased in 1718 by Matthew Smith. The home was constructed in 1778, the land used as a small family farm until the early 1900s. Over the years, the house was neglected, falling into disrepair. In 1985, Malcolm and Peggy Winkley purchased the property, intent on providing a healthy, country environment for their family of five active, growing children. Whether a family reunion, birthday party, shower, anniversary, corporate event or any other special gathering, we offer the perfect unique historical backdrop. We are known for our meticulous attention to detail in our service and our decor. A sailcloth tent is always available for use. In keeping with our traditional appeal, our modern bathroom trailer covered in barn board suggests an earlier era outhouse. Play lawn games, have a picnic and at the end of a fun filled day, a toasted s’more at our fire pit is a must! The farm house is also available to rent for the day or take advantage of the overnights option and extend your stay.

Newport Car Museum occupies an 80,000-square-foot former missile manufacturing facility on seven acres in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where it has displayed a private collection of more than 100 automobiles since opening in 2017. The collection spans eight decades of modern industrial automotive design, from the 1950s to the present, organized into curated galleries for Ford/Shelby cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars, and Mopars.
