We have been in business for 20 years in Old Town Pasadena, serving Afternoon Tea and flower arrangements for various events. Our venue can accommodate parties of 10-150 people for a pre-set menu package. The space itself can be configured in a number of diverse ways—according to you liking. The space has a grand piano, twinkle lights, a gorgeous gazebo perfect for reciting vows, cake stands, chivari chairs, 60-inch round tables, and table linens. Our venue is perfect for weddings, tea parties, birthdays, baby showers, wedding showers, engagement parties and more. Inside the venue, there is a full kitchen and staff ready to cater your event. Our event space is available early in the day, midday and after hours. After twenty years, we have come to outgrow our humble little shop on S. Raymond and have moved on to a new location at 70 N. Raymond. The front of this architectural masterpiece has been set back and embellished with windows that span the entire height of the building. In the courtyard space, where beautiful weddings are held, visitors are treated to a breathtaking view of the auditorium. Otium is a restaurant that removes the formalities of dining and instead focuses on the quality of the food, the warmth of the service, and the relaxed casual atmosphere. Founded by Felix Arguelles and Tanya Arguelles, the studio was designed as a creative hub for independent artists, startups, and corporate teams seeking an alternative to conventional event venues. The 3,000-square-foot space features a 25-foot ceiling height, a 13-foot storefront window with natural light and blackout capability, a fully functional kitchen, makeup and changing areas, and ground-floor access with an active driveway for easy load-in and load-out. WiFi, heating and air conditioning, and a sound system are included with bookings. The studio hosts corporate events, product launches, workshops, pop-up shops, photography and film productions, and private celebrations. In the context of its Southern California location, e Garden is a hybrid art form that combines traditional elements of Japanese garden design with contemporary elements. They had a shared love of the outdoors, and gardening in particular, drew them together. When it came to self-development, Loraine and Earl recognized the importance of travel, well-being, education, and art as a means of expression. They are reflected in the Garden and in other projects that they have funded, such as the CSULB International House, Miller Children's Hospital, and the ongoing work of The Earl B. and Loraine H. Miller Foundation, which they established in memory of their parents. At this time, we are unable to accommodate docent-led tours due to a lack of available space. When planning to visit the Garden during regular hours, groups of 15 or more people must contact the Garden in advance by phone (562) 985-8420 or email (jgcoordinators@csulb.edu), regardless of whether or not a docent-led tour is requested. A minimum of two weeks notice is required, and group visits may be subject to a fee if they are not pre-arranged.
