The Athena Restaurant can be found in the middle of Glendale, California, and was created to have an ambience that is comparable to that of an open-air villa in Greece. The La Cañada Thursday Club, a beautiful, historic gem of a property, is located in the heart of La Cañada Flintridge. Built in 1926, the facility has been the setting for many wedding celebrations and other special events. The clubhouse has many amenities, including a ballroom with an elevated stage, tea room, bridal suite, and kitchen. The outdoor courtyard is a private walled area that has arched wrought iron gates, a large fountain, a majestic oak tree, and a mature garden. The venue accommodates up to 130 guests and has a private, spacious parking lot. Facilities and Capacity The secluded courtyard is a perfect location for your ceremony—a floral pergola arches over the gate and provides a colorful background for the moment you both say ‘I do’. Rows of seats can be set out for your guests to watch. Here, a Spanish-tiled water fountain, paving, flower beds, and shade-providing trees all combine to create a beautiful walled-garden effect. Country Garden Caterers is a full-service catering and event venue housed in a historic building on North Main Street in Santa Ana, California. The structure dates to the late 1920s, when it served as the AAA Headquarters and Service Station, and has hosted private events since the late 1970s. Its distinctive character comes from the original brick facade, terra cotta tile floors, stained-glass windows, antique oak bar, mezzanine, and old-fashioned street lamp that remain intact throughout the main hall. The venue accommodates up to 125 guests for ceremonies and receptions, offering an included rental period with round tables, Chiavari chairs, a full bar with host or no-host options, and a dedicated dance area. A signature touch is the ringing of the Mission Wedding Bell, a tradition woven into many celebrations held here. Beyond weddings, Country Garden Caterers hosts corporate events, cocktail parties, holiday celebrations, and film shoots. An in-house team handles catering, cake design, décor, and day-of coordination, giving clients a single point of contact from planning through cleanup.

In recent years, Derrick Pipkin has gained widespread recognition throughout Southern California for his work in the entertainment industry, particularly for his massively successful Party In Palm Springs extravaganza and annual Mother's Day Jazz Festival. After years of successfully combining business and entertainment, Derrick has recently added the title of restaurateur to his long list of accomplishments and is looking forward to the future. Since the summer 2010 opening of PIPS on La Brea, the PIPS experience has continued to impress foodies and music lovers alike, thanks to Live Jazz on a newly-renovated patio. Luis Carrizo is a Master Chef who has worked all over the world. Chef Luis Carrizo, of Salvat, Argentina, was introduced to South American, Argentinean, and Mediterranean cuisine by his parents, who were born in Spain. Argentina and Brazil were the final destinations for his professional training and culinary education. Following graduation, he worked his way up the ranks to become the Executive Chef for Events at the Hotel Turista in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and the prestigious Hyatt Hotel in Santiago, Chile, among other places. Luis Carrizo Salvat traveled to the United States in the late 1990s to further his professional and personal interests in cooking. He accepted the position of Executive Chef at Minotaure Tapas Restaurant & Wine Bar in Playa Del Rey, California, which is well-known for being a fine-dining Spanish restaurant with a Mediterranean influence. In addition to serving as a consultant for numerous restaurant openings, Chef Luis Carrizo Salvat continues to develop menus for businesses such as Farmer's Grove and California City Market. The success of his own catering business, "Flavors of the World," in Woodland Hills has led to the formation of another.

Oak Canyon Nature Center is a 58-acre natural park tucked into the Santa Ana foothills of Anaheim Hills, California, where three adjoining canyons meet in a landscape of oak woodland and coastal sage scrub. A year-round stream winds through the property, and four miles of hiking trails trace the ridgelines and canyon floors that surround the event area. The centerpiece for private events is the outdoor amphitheater, set among native coastal oaks and accommodating up to 200 guests for wedding ceremonies. Rentals include four hours of event time, a two-hour rehearsal, use of an on-site sound system, and access to indoor restrooms. The amphitheater features a built-in arch, stage, and tiered seating, framed entirely by natural landscape. Oak Canyon Nature Center is a ceremony-only venue operated by the City of Anaheim; receptions are not permitted on the grounds. The park remains open to the public during events, lending the setting a relaxed, park-like character appropriate to its surroundings.
