Frankies 457’s private event space is a converted blacksmith’s stable located in the garden behind their restaurant at 457 Court Street in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. The rustic brick building, constructed in the early 1900’s, can accommodate up to 40 people for a family-style dinner or up to 50 guests for a buffet event with scattered seating. For events of 41 to 70 guests, our Stable Garden space may be added to the Stable for expanded seating. The Stable Garden is located directly outside the Stable. For an indoor/outdoor event, the Stable doors slide completely open allowing free-flow between the spaces. During the cooler months the Stable Garden is winterized enabling you to celebrate at Frankies year round. Two days before your event, you must do a final count of attendees. The total cost will be increased by the amount of New York State sales tax, 20 percent gratuity, and a 5 percent planning charge. To avoid a 10% cleaning cost, please book additional time for decorating and remove all decorations at the end of your planned period in order to avoid a 10% cleaning fee. THE HISTORY OF THE BELL HOUSE The Bell House, a state-of-the-art 8,000 square foot facility with a separate performance space and lounge, is centrally located between Park Slope and Carroll Gardens. Constructed in the 1920s from an old printing factory and boasting an 88 foot long and 25 foot high magnificent wooden barrel vault ceiling, The Bell House has quickly established itself as a major center for arts and entertainment in Brownstone Brooklyn. Walk in customers would step right over a black rope that was put up for boundaries and look around the space in awe! This building, once an old door factory with two floors, was gutted by the architectural genius and landlord. Montclair Wedding Sanctuary occupies a historic Neo-Gothic church in Montclair, New Jersey, designed by architect Bertram Goodhue and dedicated in 1916. Soaring vaulted ceilings, a cathedral-length aisle, intricate stained glass windows, and original oak woodwork give the main Sanctuary one of the more architecturally distinctive ceremony settings in northern New Jersey. The congregation behind it — a ministry of First Congregational Church of Montclair — has championed inclusive values for nearly 150 years, hosting Montclair's first same-gender marriage in October 2013 and explicitly welcoming interfaith, unaffiliated, same-gender, and non-traditional couples. Three spaces serve different moments of the day: the Sanctuary itself, accommodating ceremonies from 25 to 450 or more guests; the Courtyard Garden, an outdoor setting with stonework and a central lawn suited to gatherings of up to 40; and the Guild Room, a high-ceilinged, heavy-beamed reception hall for up to 85 seated or cocktail-style guests. On-site coordinators, ordained officiants, professional musicians, live-streaming, and decor packages are available to support every element of the celebration.

The historic gardens at Planting Field make the ideal location for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other special occasions. After the gardens have closed to the public, ceremonies for weddings and other celebrations usually start at 5 o'clock or later.
