Founded when local residents voted to create a living memorial for those who served in World War II, the district operates a renovated facility of over 20,000 square feet on the edge of downtown Clovis. The facility includes a 350-seat Memorial Auditorium equipped with a 12-by-21-foot LED wall, audio systems, lavalier and wireless microphones, and live-streaming capability; a ballroom suitable for banquets and galas; and multiple meeting rooms ranging from 418 square feet to over 10,000 square feet.   Leadbetter Beach is a city-owned coastal venue in Santa Barbara, California, situated between Santa Barbara Harbor and Shoreline Park, directly across from Santa Barbara City College. Set along the Pacific shoreline, the beach combines open-air ocean views with a grassy lawn, outdoor showers, restrooms, and convenient paid parking in an adjacent lot — offering a relaxed natural setting for outdoor gatherings of all kinds. Three reservable outdoor areas serve events ranging from intimate ceremonies to group picnics. The Leadbetter Ceremony Area is a secluded, palm-lined grassy site overlooking the beach and Leadbetter Point, designed for wedding ceremonies of up to 60 guests. Leadbetter Beach Area West, situated just west of the Shoreline Cafe along the waterfront, accommodates up to 50 guests. The Leadbetter Beach Picnic Area, a beachfront group site at the west end of the parking lot, seats up to 65 guests and includes picnic tables and BBQ facilities. For your ceremony, choose from the Rose Garden, Wisteria Garden, or Tea House Patio, as well as reception space in the Carriage House or Tea House Patio. Our event coordinator can assist you in putting together the perfect gathering. RENTAL DETAILS With over 20 years of expertise at Gamble Garden, our wedding/event coordinator will assist you with the planning of your special event. Gamble Garden can host groups of up to 50 people and is available for rental Monday through Friday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday. You and your guests will enjoy the first floor of the Main House, which includes the Dining Room, Living Room, and Library with veranda; the Carriage House and Carriage House Patio; and the Tea House and Tea House Patio when you choose Gamble Garden for your special occasion. Within your rental area are the Rose Garden, the Allée, and the Wisteria Garden, all of which are perfect for photography at any time of year. The property was originally the vacation retreat of oil pioneer William Warren Orcutt, and its Spanish Colonial Revival residence — completed around 1926 — features glazed tiles imported from Mexico and carved mahogany and walnut woodwork from the Philippines. The grounds include a seasonal rose garden, a 700-year-old Coast Live Oak, wandering nature trails, a citrus orchard, a rustic barn, a courtyard fountain, and a gazebo. The venue accommodates events for 40 to 300 guests, making it well-suited for weddings, receptions, anniversaries, and private celebrations. Rental facilities are available daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and a guest house with two separate dressing rooms is available for the bridal party.
