  Wesleyan College occupies a 200-acre wooded campus in north Macon, Georgia, on the National Register of Historic Places, built around a central quadrangle of Georgian Revival architecture that traces to 1928. Founded in 1836 as Georgia Female College, Wesleyan holds the distinction of being the first college in the world chartered to grant degrees to women — a history that gives the campus its particular character as a setting for celebrations. For private events, the college offers an unusually varied collection of spaces: Anderson Dining Hall seats up to 350 beneath a vaulted ceiling with large arched windows; the grand Porter Auditorium accommodates 1,124 for concerts, ceremonies, and theatrical productions; Oval Hall in the Candler Alumnae Building brings ornate moldings and parquet flooring to receptions and luncheons for up to 250; and Pierce Chapel, opened in 2015 on a knoll overlooking Foster Lake, seats approximately 300 for weddings and memorial services, with a lower-level reception area for around 70.   Enterprise Mill Events is a full-service event venue housed within the historic Enterprise Mill complex on Greene Street in Augusta, Georgia. The 19th-century mill building's original brick walls, exposed timber, and high ceilings give the space a distinctive character that blends industrial heritage with Southern warmth. The main banquet hall spans 2,500 square feet and seats up to 180 guests for plated dinners or accommodates nearly 250 for cocktail-style receptions.   The Engine Room is a one-of-a-kind event facility in historic downtown Monroe, Georgia, housed in portion of the Monroe Cotton Mills, which housed the engines that powered the mill machinery for 90 years. The hardwood floors, exposed brick walls with worn paint, heart of pine columns, iron bars covering a few of the windows, and major entrances with historic sliding fire doors have all been repaired and kept intact in the building, which has been a part of Monroe's history since 1895. This completely accessible, climate controlled space is one of the largest in Walton county, with modern comforts like as a full service commercial catering prep kitchen, updated industrial chic restrooms, and a huge bridal suite. The Engine Room's 6,400 sq ft main hall can accommodate groups of up to 400 seated or 500 standing people, but it may also be partitioned to accommodate smaller wedding ceremonies and receptions. With the old brick mill building and its surrounding towers acting as a magnificent backdrop, the expansive outdoor lawn provides an acre and a half of green area for ceremonies, parties, and picnics. The Engine Room also has a tucked-away outdoor patio for receptions and short ceremonies in a secluded open-air setting. Weddings The Engine Room is Monroe's newest and most interesting Special Events venue, providing both value and beauty. The Engine Room, with over 15,000 square feet of total area, can accommodate weddings of all shapes and sizes. The Engine Room boasts a single venue space of over 6,250 square feet, fully accessible space and facilities, climate control, a full-service caterer's kitchen, abundant parking, a secluded outdoor patio alcove, stunning hardwood floors, and an intimate old mill setting. Tables and chairs are included in the rental, in addition to these features. There are no vendor requirements in the Engine Room.   As a company, we're in the business of providing people with what they want... and if that includes a massive private event room loaded with dozens of games and cool, tasty beer, then you've arrived at the perfect spot, my friend. As our event space has grown to accommodate up to 300 people, we've held a broad range of events, including corporate meetings, fundraisers, alumni gatherings, class reunions, wedding receptions, baby showers, and the list goes on and on! In addition to a three-vessel, 40 BBL brewhouse, 620 BBL of fermentation space, and 320 BBLs of brite beer storage, we have a 620 BBL of fermentation space. Clarification of all of our beers is accomplished with the help of a GEA centrifuge. Red Hare, like with a small number of other craft breweries, is fortunate in that it has a full-time biochemist and a fully equipped laboratory for quality control. We were the first craft brewery in Georgia to can its beer, and we were the first brewery in the world to use the evercan, an aluminum can with a high recycled content. With a 40-head filler and six-head seamer, our canning line is capable of packaging nearly 480 cases every hour (about 11,520 cans)! It is possible for us to process 50 BBLs of beer per day on our kegging line.
