The sanctuary accommodates more than 600 guests, making it one of the larger ceremony venues on the east side of Indianapolis. Traditional pews and candelabras set the atmosphere, while a beautiful ornate pipe organ and grand piano offer musical options for ceremonies. The church can provide professional musicians or welcome performers brought by the couple. Old Bethel is open to couples of all backgrounds — membership in the congregation is not required to marry here. Ample on-site parking is available, and the location is convenient to nearby reception venues and hotels.

Recognized as one of the world's outstanding monuments, the limestone structure rises 284 feet and 6 inches — only 15 feet shorter than the Statue of Liberty — and has come to symbolize both the city and the state. Designed by Bruno Schmitz of Berlin and completed in 1902, the monument is crafted from gray oolitic limestone quarried in Owen County, Indiana. Its grounds feature an array of sculptural works, including the four corner statues representing the Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, and Navy, and the crowning figure of Victory holding a sword and torch aloft. The monument's north and south steps and landings are available for private ceremonies and events, managed through the Indiana War Memorials Commission. The monument also houses a Gift Shop and an Observatory at 231 feet above street level, offering panoramic views of the Indianapolis skyline. Lakeside Park Rose Garden is a nationally recognized outdoor venue managed by Fort Wayne Parks & Recreation in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The garden was designated a National Rose Garden in 1928 — an honor it still holds — and features more than 2,000 rose plants spanning at least 150 varieties, set within a sunken garden design completed in the early 1920s by Parks Superintendent Adolf Jaenicke. The Rose Garden is available for private events in two-hour increments, making it a popular choice for outdoor ceremonies, from weddings to graduation celebrations to family reunions. Greek-style white pergolas, reflecting ponds, and brick-paver pathways frame the space, which the garden has recently enhanced with additional lighting for evening events and a bronze fountain on the north retaining wall. Adjacent to the Rose Garden, two covered pavilions — Lakeside Pavilion 1 (72 guests) and Lakeside Pavilion 2 (80 guests) — are available for receptions, gatherings, and group events. Pavilion 2 sits directly next to the Rose Garden and includes a kitchen, fireplace, and indoor-outdoor access. The park spans 23.8 acres along Lakeside Pond, providing a scenic backdrop for any event.
