The Isles of Shoals Steamship Company operates private charters aboard the M/V Thomas Laighton, a 90-foot Victorian steamship replica berthed in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The vessel hosts weddings, rehearsal dinners, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and bridal showers on the water, cruising through Portsmouth Harbor and along the Piscataqua River with views of the historic Isles of Shoals. Three decks give the vessel flexibility for events of different sizes and styles. Two fully heated, enclosed indoor cabins offer shelter in any season, while the open sundeck provides an outdoor gathering space with harbor views. Check out the photographs on this page! * This beautiful neo-classical three-story palace, which was completed in 1926, is the product of years of meticulous work. The steel-beam construction mansion, designed by Boston architects Blackhall, Clapp, and Whittemore, was built for Harding Allen, the proprietor of the Chas. G. Allen Co., a drilling and tapping machine firm and iron foundry. The company was established during the American Civil War to manufacture Yankee hay rakes. Approximately 742 individuals were employed by the company at its height of operations. The company has shrunk in size over the years, but it is still in operation. When Harding's wife, Carrie C. Allen, passed away in 1946, the estate was auctioned off, and Dr. and Mrs. Richard Fowler purchased a piece of the land, which included the mansion, for a sum of $1.25 million. Until it was repurchased by Steve Goldsmith, the great-nephew of Harding Allen, in 1972, the property remained in the possession of the Fowler family. After he and his wife Ina died in February 1995, the property was purchased by Alain Beret and James Fairbanks who lived there until the present day. Carmine and Grace Gugliotti, the current owners, purchased the property in February 2004 from the previous owners. The mansion is highlighted by its imposing two-story portico as well as exquisite balustraded porches on three sides. The beautiful internal plaster molding, carved millwork, and marble detail, all executed by professional Italian craftsmen, has been preserved in its entirety on the interior walls. The use of original lighting fixtures is prevalent throughout the space.

Roseland Cottage is a National Historic Landmark in Woodstock, Connecticut, managed by Historic New England. Built in 1846 for New York merchant and publisher Henry Bowen, the Gothic Revival estate is instantly recognizable by its bright pink board-and-batten exterior, steep gabled rooflines, and ornamental bargeboards — considered one of the best-preserved examples of the style in the country. The grounds reflect the same Victorian ambition as the house itself. A boxwood parterre garden, designed in the 1850s, contains 21 flowerbeds with more than 4,000 annuals. The carriage barn shelters the oldest surviving indoor bowling alley in the nation, a reminder that Bowen used Roseland Cottage to entertain on a grand scale — four U.S. presidents among them. From May through October, the Carriage House and south lawn are available for private events including weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations. The rental includes kitchen facilities, tables and chairs, and two accessible restrooms, all set against grounds that have hosted guests since the age of Ulysses S. Grant.

The centerpiece for private events is the Banquet Center, a 7,500-square-foot facility that opened in 2015 and was designed to reflect the elegance of the original mansion. The ballroom accommodates up to 275 guests and features a wood arched-truss ceiling, a granite-topped bar, a dance floor, and a professional sound system. Newport Car Museum occupies an 80,000-square-foot former missile manufacturing facility on seven acres in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, where it has displayed a private collection of more than 100 automobiles since opening in 2017. The collection spans eight decades of modern industrial automotive design, from the 1950s to the present, organized into curated galleries for Ford/Shelby cars, Corvettes, World Cars, Porsches, Fin Cars, Muscle Cars, and Mopars. Mid-Century modern furniture is displayed throughout the galleries alongside the cars, extending the museum's design focus beyond the automobiles themselves. Truro Vineyards of Cape Cod occupies a restored 1830s farmhouse on the Outer Cape in North Truro, Massachusetts, set among cultivated vineyard rows and framed by a 200-year-old mulberry tree. The property also houses South Hollow Spirits, a working distillery that produces Twenty Boat Rums and Dry Line Gin using a 250-gallon copper pot still — making it one of the few venues on Cape Cod where guests can experience both winemaking and craft distilling in a single setting. House of Chamberlain This historic farmhouse, which was originally used for overnight accommodations, was renovated and expanded in 2016 to provide 20 guest rooms, including 12 suites. Country Inn & Suites Located just a short walk from the Main Inn and situated amongst an apple orchard, the Country Motor Lodge opened its doors in 1960.
